For those who have read the book and have actually seen the other movies you will definetly love the movie. If you have not watched the other movies or read the book you might be lost and it may not be exciting to you. Over all Great movie!!!

just left the movies...was good but felt like alot was missing....they ended to soon...how are they going to get all the really good stuff in the last part....it would have to be at least 3 hrs long to do it ...

I really liked Breaking Dawn but...I wish they wouldn't have played so much "soap opera" type music through all the dialogue. Would have loved to see Bella driving the 'armored car". Also would have like to seen more of Jabob when he was searching for someone to imprint on. Just seems like they rushed through too much too fast. I'm an avid fan just wanted more! =)

slow. music montage. kissing. music montage. kissing. music montage...you get the idea. and then some really gross birth stuff....yikes. avoid this one, seriously. i liked the first three but this is ridiculous.

Yes certain parts of the book were left out of the movie, but that is always the case. This movie was excellent. As good as I had hoped it would be. It was amazing and left me not wanting to wait another year for part two. My friends and I have already seen it three times in the few short days it's been open. They did an excellent job. Loved it!! Can't wait to see it again and again.

It was pretty good...not my favorite of the series but still good...I'm just eager to see Part 2 now. I only have two complaints about is movie:
1. The wolf voices during the fight for pack Alpha seen were so corny and stupid. The really cheesed up a great scene from the book.
2. The fight scene between the Culllens and the Pack was so unnecessary. It was not a part of the novel and it was simply not needed.
Hoping that Part 2 is better.

My granddaughter and I never miss any of the movies in the series and found this to be one of the best. The actions scenes were so powerful and the storyline was engaging. No matter that we have read the books at least twice, we always marvel at how the written words are so skillfully interpreted onto the movie screen. I've got my 26 and 33 year olds so interested, they can't wait to go see this a second time!

The wedding was beautiful, and the honeymoon was what I expected it to look like. I think they did a wonderful job adapting this one from book to movie. It is a really good movie and I think the main characters really made you feel like the book.

I loved this movie. However, I was disappointed that Rosalie's character isn't as prominently featured as it is in the book. She is a big part in the book. Especially her dislike of Jacob. I enjoyed that Carter Burwell scored the movie (he also did the first Twilight) because it brings you full circle with the same or similar background music. Some of the wolf talk is extremely cheesy. Even though the movie is two hours long I felt like I didn't get as much information or detail as the book by far.

Breaking Dawn - Part 1 is by far the best installment yet in the film version of the Twilight Saga. It is a film made for fans, but also enjoyed by casual movie goers. Putting this movie in perspective of the genre it is in and based on the books it was created from, an honest review would simply be in accordance, but is lacking in the reviews out there today.
Breaking Dawn - Part 1 did an incredible job of bringing to life not just the first part of the final installment of this series, but bringing to life the intimate feelings of unique expressions within the story. Breaking Dawn - Part 1 allowed the viewer not only to see the intimate feelings of what it means to "imprint", to "hear" the inner dialogue of the wolf pack, to become "immortal", etc. But the film allowed the viewer to feel, to almost experience them first hand. Directer Bill Condon accomplished what other directors could not and brought the Twilight experience to whole other level that this film saga had not yet reached. Incredible and surreal. I highly recommend this film.

I thouhgt the movie dragged on to long and wasn't the best of the series. I hope Part 2 is better than Part 1. I was dissapointed in Part 1. But I would recommend you go see it if you're a Twilight fan. I think all of the actors are good except for Kristen Stewart. She gives a very meek performance in all of the series. The Wolf Pack was the best part of the movie other than Bellas Gown which was exquisite, very beautiful. She look Gorgeous at the end as a Vampire though LOL.

Most people going to see this movie have read the books and they know how the story ends, myself included. That said, the filmmakers managed to create a movie that created a sense of suspense and uncertainty that I wasn't expecting. There are certainly a couple of concepts that didn't translate well to the screen, but all in all, it's a great flick for those of us who have been waiting a long time to see it.

Went along well with book but much touted sex scene deleted to get PG rating so was lacking. Very lame honeymoon scene. Wedding gorgeous, could have devoted more screen time. Some of the scenes were either overplayed from book or lacking. Overall, tho, was my favorite next to the the original, which will always be the the best and most innocent and most inspiring and captivating.

My hubby(who has not read the books) and I totally enjoyed the movie this afternoon. By far the best one so far and will be eagerly awaiting the last one. Great job by all the actors and actresses. I sooo hope the entire series will be sold as collector's set in Blu-ray!

With the exception of how many chapters were devoted to Jacob's journey and trials --- I think they did as good a job as they could have with getting it on point with the book. I can't believe Summit is making us wait an entire year for Part 2 --- when it's already been in post production. How about making it a summer release Summit?

We went to the12:30 AM release of this movie and did not have any problems keeping our eyes open. I agree with the other reviews I have read that this was by far the best of the series. It was excellent.
