I wasn't really impressed with the first three movies, with the exception of seeing Jacob without a shirt!! But this one was absolutely fabulous. I was never a fan of Robert Pattinson or Kristen Stewart, but they both lived up to their characters in this movie. Have seen it twice already and plan on going again!!

My wife had read the book and was pleasantly surprised to see the correlation to the book to the movie. As mentioned in some other reviews, there are parts that are a little departed and I'm sure it was for visual and dramatic interest. Overall, the move scored a big hit for both of us. The saga has been fascinating to date and we are eagerly awaiting next year's release. Excellent job of make up during and after the birth scences on Kristen Stewart.

As a follower of the book series, my favorite was Eclipse and least favorite was New Moon. So, Twilight and Breaking Dawn fell somewhere in between. When I first read BD, I hated the Jacob part. After the movies started to flavor my POV, I actually liked the Jacob part in the book the best. I can't help it. While I'm a TS fan, I'm not a Bella fan. KS's terrible portrayal doesn't help that. Also, RP's portrayal of Edward has him getting increasingly flat for me. The humans are the best actors in the movies. The wolves are the second best. And, while I love the vampires, some of their acting (especially those with the most screen time!) is just so weak. On top of it all, it seems like the growth the actors had in the two previous films went away, with them taking giant steps back toward their Twilight infancy under the direction of Bill Condon. It was sad to see so much progress lost. The performances just weren't as good and the tone wasn't as dark as it could have been. The effects and realism were average. I'm not sure what could've made this movie better than NM or Eclipse, but maybe Part 2 will do better.

Definitly the Best movie of the series. There was no bad points. I would go see it again. The wedding, the honeymoon, the pregnancy, Jacob, all great parts npt a dull moment. I can't wait till the next one comes out!!!

Having read the books multiple times over, I think they got pretty close to the story. I was disapointed with a few specific scenes that I was expecting to be more/better. Over all, it was good. I enjoyed it. But the most anticipated parts for me were diminished I think.

If you are a Twilight fan you will love this movie ! The wedding scene was beautiful. I wished they had shown more of the wedding/reception, but the whole thing was great. I've read or heard some people review the movie and they said it was cheesy or they did like it, but every time they said that they also ended up saying they hadn't read the books or seen the other movies. I definetl feel that you need to have either read the books or seen the movies in order to appreciate them. For example the scene where they give Bella the blood in a styrofoam cup with a lid...people were making fun of it, but if you had read the book you would have understood better. I really like the scene with Jacob at the lumber yard when he stands up to Sam. I am only sad tha I have to wait a year to see part 2.

Both my daughter and I can not get enough of the movie. It's the best Twilight movie yet. We managed to get in three viewings over the weekend, and plan to go back again for at least one or two more showings. Two thumbs up!

I was ready to turn around and watch it again right away! Couldn't believe they got away with the PG-13 rating w/ the birthing scene, I won't be letting my girls watch this one when I get the video. I thought they did a pretty good job of staying true to the book and was amazed at how they made Bella look during her pregnancy.

This was by far the best screen adaptation of all the movies that have come out. Part 1 stayed very true to the book with a few comedic moments thrown in...the visuals were great! I enjoyed this installment but I can't wait for part 2! Just based on the way this 1 ended, I have a feeling the next 1 is going to be the best 1 yet!!!

As usual... the book was much better than the movie... so much more detail! Overall the movie was great though... I do think that the voices used when the wolves were communicating as wolves were over the top and cheesy. However, Bella's labor scene more than made up for it. I was very impressed with it! Loved it and would go see it again... can't wait for part 2!

Very good movie - loved the humor infused into it - it made it more enjoyable. But I thought the scene with the wolves talking was a bit much - even though that's how it's written in the book, it just looked silly. Very good though - can't wait for the last one, which should be the best one of all.

So far the best movie of the Twilight Series, hands down - most of the film was really well done; the voiceovers on the wolves during the scene where Jacob challenges Sam were terrible though. Overall, great movie - can't wait for the next one!

Characters stare and stand about the scenes. Back up cast don't show enough emotion. The best character is the father but since he is there only once in awhile, movie is not good enough for my recommendation.

Excellent! Looking forward to the next one. At the extended END of the movie with the Volturi scene, just the presentation of the announcement was sufficient...dragging the messenger was silly.

Breaking Dawn Part 1 was so great. It keeps getting better and better with every series and this is the best yet. I love the wedding scene it was great to see some comedy at the reception. This was one of the best movies I've seen for Twilight. The last couple were so melodramatic and left out the snarky comments that I love about these books. This one stayed true for the most part. Kristen went all out on the emaciated teen mom thing. I wanted to feed her cheeseburgers. Very convincing. The wolf talking was really lame, and my friend and I laughed the whole 5 minutes they talked. Otherwise, it was awesome!

Loved it. It did stay very true to the book which was my main concern. I think that they played it out very well, and left it in the perfect way. There were some cheesy points, but it's true to the book so it was great.
