I was going to see the movie regardless of what the reviews said because I loved the books. I was somewhat disappointed with this movie compared to the others - the part with the wolves was very cheesy and I didn't feel like Edward and Bella had any chemistry. The wedding was awkward. The end was good! Can't wait for the second part to come out....

This was an Okay movie. I ended up chuckling at the cheesiness more than anything else and I definitely did not believe the "I can't live without you" lines for one second. No chemistry at all between Edward and Bella. But it was a good way to kill an hour and 45 minutes on a Sunday night.

Having read all of the books - I have waited what seems like forever to see the visual rendition of this book - and again, was NOT disappointed. Not only did they capture the essence of the story with intense acting, incredible scenery and visual effects, but also with awesome music. Now the hard part is going to be waiting to see Part II. Until then, I will have to see this again in the theater at least one more time. I will definitely own this one on DVD too.

Stuck fairly close to the book. A solid PG-13 rating due to skinny dipping scene, headboard scene. Lots of kissing in this movie lol...no cussing. Graphic scenes showing Bella's body emaciated from baby and the birthing scene was also graphic but all was well done. Perfect place to end the movie to hang for Part 2.

I am not a teenager but really enjoyed the books. I do NOT read what the critics have to say and make up my own mind when it comes to a movie. I thought it was very well done in the honeymoon moments. It was not dirty but beautiful and I felt like I shared a tiny fraction of Edward and Bells's special night. I would of allowed my daughter to see it if she were teen. Cant wait for Part 2

These movies have gotten a little better with each one. They do not even come close to the books. I usually just go to the movies with friends that want to see them and haven't read the books. I thought the scenes where the wolves were talking were extremely hokey but, I guess unavoidable. So much about this series is magical in writing but just does not (and cannot) translate to the big screen without being just laughable.

Read all the books, saw all three movies. Did not think they would be able to beat Eclipse however breaking dawn part 1,so far is now my favorite, and my 8 year old daughter has expressed this to be her favorite as well. I'm obssessed!! Cant wait for part 2!!!

Best movie so far! Of course there are a few scenes I could pick on, but geez, some things are just hard to put on film without it looking cheezy or goofy! Some people say they weren't happy with the honeymoon - but I believe they did a wonderful job! Others say they focused on the pregnancy too much.....umm.....if you read the books, the pregnancy takes up the whole first half! Anyway - I absolutely loved the movie! I believe all three characters (Bella, Edward, Jacob) gave their best performances yet! I CANNOT FREAKIN' WAIT FOR PART 2! :)

All in all I thought the movie was good. I understand the difficulty they faced with expressing things from the book however the wolf scenes were a bit cheesy. I didn't get the WOW factor I was looking for. They did a great job with making Bella look sickly during the pregnancy.

Breaking Dawn happened to be my favorite in the series of books. I think of all the movies so far, this one was by far the very best and kept to the story line really well. I think the break at the end, to prepare for Part 2 was the right thing to do and I cannot wait for it to come out!

I loved this movie. I loved how they stuck with the book, but the wolf pack talking like they did was a little cheesy. I think they could have made it longer, everyone wanted more. I would loved to have seen Bella wake up and actually see her daughter, but it was a great movie. My daughter loved it as well.

Being a lover of the books I think this movie followed the book closest. I thought it was a good movie. There was so much anticipation for the wedding, honeymoon, birth, and transformation I think they hit all of those. The transformation of Bella through her pregnancy was amazing. You actually thought she was dying. I loved the way they transformed her to vampire. The movie ended just in the spot I would have expected. I can’t wait for the final movie. Each one has gotten better and better!

Another great film from Bill Condon. Visually the moving was beautiful, and the actors have never been stronger in their roles. The twilight movies have reached a new level of sophistication thanks to the new director. I am excited to see part 2, and wish Stephanie Meyers had reading a hundred books about the Cullen’s!

I think the movie left out key points the book brought out. I'm a huge Twilight fan and have read the books through twice (parts more than twice). I think they should have spent more time on Jake's feelings and Edwards torture at seeing Bella waste away. I think that the rating should have been R due to the birth scene and Bella's blood drinking pre-transformation. I do not think they are books / movies for 13 and up - they should be 16 at the youngest.

This was the best installment yet. I experienced a lot of emotions while watching that I was not expecting as I didn't get all sappy at the last two. the imagery was amazing as they made Bella's look so realistic. The wolves are never my favorite, but th rest of the movie made up for their lacking.

As a fan of Twilight I was concerned after reading so many negative critic reviews. My negative review would be for them. What did they expect? More sex and violence? Yep, that is what they expected. I thought the movie was the best yet and keeping it PG-13 was very appropriate for the teenage fans. My party of 18 who watched the midnight showing all loved this movie. The teens expressed that they didn't want it to end (even though it was 1:30am and they had to wake up for school in a few hours).

I thought Breaking Dawn part 1 was pretty good at following the book, however I feel like the wolf parts could have been done to be less cheesy. I would have used subtitles for what the wolves were saying to each other telepathically rather than having them actually talk out loud. That was a little ridiculous. I did think they did a great job making Bella look awful during the pregnancy and when she "died". I like the way they did that part of it.

This was by far the best of the movies so far. I have loved all of them but this movie is defining the love between Bella and Edward. The acting was fantastic and Kristen Stewart did an awesome job with the transformation she went through. It will be hard to wait a whole year to see the ending of this book. Way to Go Cast, awesome job.
