For those who love books and movies, one of the greatest challenges in watching a movie is that it generally is not as well crafted as the underlying book. That wasn't the case with Breaking Dawn. The movie was a streamlined, yet faithful version of the book. The actors were more comfortable than ever in their roles and the special effects necessary to portray Bella as being destroyed from the inside were outstanding. Certainly the story was riveting, with conflicting values, loyalties and needs creating a maelstrom of emotion and plenty of opportunity for character portrayal of angst. Riveting, intricate and, even knowing the ending, absolutely entertaining. Enjoy!

I would have to say that I went in with no expectations. The movies have been getting better as they go but I didn't want to get my hopes up. They did a really good job sticking to the book, I'm glad they did it in 2 parts, if they had tried to shove it all into one, they would have ruined it.
Anyway, the actors and actresses all seemed a little more comfortable.
Also, Edward seemed a little too non-vampire like. Less rigid. It was fun to watch.
All in all, a great movie!
If you are a fan, this one is the best so far!

As with all the other Twilight movies, I LOVED it!. However, it went way too fast and was too short. You also have to stay and watch the scene after the credits start.

The love story is apparent and is a definite draw for the ladies. However, The Twilight Saga does have the action element that will keep the attention of my male species. Although Eclipse is still my favorite, Breaking Dawn Part 1 is definitely worth checking out. #teamjacob

The movie was great, but I think I would have enjoyed it more had I not read the books. The movie ran pretty close to the book. The love and raw emotions was well played out. The wedding was awesome. However, I was disappointed in the birth and Bella's "changing" scene, as the movie did not capture what she truly went through. The book did a phenomenal job of detailing her agony. Although slightly disappointed, I look forward the the final movie.

This was one of my favorites in the Twilight Saga movies.. I found myself so engrossed in the story that time just flew by. The storyline keeps very true ( once again) to the Breaking Dawn book and the cast does an outstanding job of bringing the characters to life. This is a must see and I plan on watching this movie again.

I dont want to say too much, but if your a die hard fan ...then this is just another plus.
me and my girls loved it (whats not to love)
my only complaints were the scenes inside of body , with the venom etc. they could have done something else.
also why didnt anyone sparkle when there was day light ?
But all in all was a great Movie...we cant wait for part 2 =)

I am a huge Twilight Fan, and I have to say this was the best yet!! With the movie lasting almost 2 hours, it felt like it was only 30 minutes. It kept you in your seat...Can't wait until 11/16/12!!

This is the best Twilight movie yet!! Loved the part where Jacob fell in love with the baby so his old pack couldn't do anything to her!! The Wedding was so beautiful!! I'm a huge fan and have read the books several times and love the movies but I have to say that this one just didn't seem to rank up there with the others. I felt like certain parts of the movie were really rushed and others dragged on. I think overall the new director did a great job with everything except the scene with the wolf pack telepathy - it was just very weird and I know why its never been tackled in a movie before; I'm hoping there isn't more in part 2.

I reluctantly decided to be part of the opening weekend madness because I have enjoyed the previous movies and was not at all dissappointed. Graphics and acting were the best so far I believe. Death scene was portrayed so realisticly, it was almost disturbing. I personally have not had the luxury of reading the books but plan to do so once all the movies are out. Sometimes its hard to appreciate the film version when trying to compare it to the written.
