After seriously going off the tracks with New Moon and Eclipse, Breaking Dawn Pt 1 returns to the heart of the saga for the first time since Twilight - the epic love story of Edward and Bella, which captivated millions of readers. So here we see a lighthearted Edward and nervous Bella marry in a romantic wedding, grow closer during their honeymoon, and then face a pregnancy both unexpected and dangerous. Edward's love of Bella at first prevents him from understanding his wife's choice to continue a pregnancy which could well kill her, but he comes to understand her decision. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have never been better in their roles and are totally believable as each event takes place in the story. The birth scene is captivating and Pattinson's anguish is palpable. The film lags when the focus is not on Edward and Bella, as the wolves are collectively lacking in the acting and charisma departments, but thankfully the distractions are kept to a minimum and the vampires are once again given the opportunity to take center stage. The ending can stand alone, but also is a great enticement to see the final chapter next November.

I think this was the best one so far! Lots of action, lots of love and passion, and some tear-jerking moments! Can't wait to see it again and for Part 2 to come out!!! Hope they don't wait a year for the second part!

After the movie was over it felt like I had only read half of a book. But I thought about how the whole movie played out and it was great. I hated her wedding shoes adored the honeymoon and almost upchucked during the birth (it was quite graphic). I think its definitely one of the best movies I've ever seen. It was worth the $9.50 and 1 years worth of waiting and I'm sure the next half will be as well.

If you are a Twilight fan, then this is the best movie ever. I am a huge fan of the books. This movie was amazing and by far the best out of all the movies. I can't wait till part 2 comes out.

I loved it, it followed the book closely and I even liked how it answered earlier unexplained personality qwerks of Edward (his problem with accepting himself as a man killer) from the first book. My husband thought it was too romantic/kissy for his taste, he only went to accompany me but he still voiced his opinion. Definitely one for the females, guys are mostly along for the ride. Can't wait for Part 2.

I love the Twilight movies. Breaking Dawn part I was just not good. I was very disappointed! I spent most of the movie wishing that it would hurry up and end. I felt like the movie was just dragging! The movie didn't get interesting until the end! I'm really hoping part 2 is going to be a whole lot better. This was a fail!!

Would I recommend this to someone..... Only if they were already a Twilight fan. This was by far the hokiest of the series as of yet. And to make it worse, some director and screen writer did part 2. The scene at the reception w/ people on stage was just STUPID and the way the wolf telepathy was filmed was just terrible. Will still c it again and buy DVD but that's b/c wedding ceremony and honeymoon scenes were done really well. Robert Pattinson looks great. Am definitely Team Edward fan, of course! Anyways, liked the movie but not loved. Was very disappointed especially after having to wait so long!

This movie evoked the romance of the first kiss. It followed the book however I would have liked a little more wolf relationship drama with Bella pregnancy. The book really is the best method of filling out the movie. They are both great and I am looking forward to Breaking Dawn - Part 2 movie. Romance describes this movie and ACTION will describe the next one!
