I have previously read the entire series of the twilight books. I felt how most people do with how the books are most often better than the movies however; I thought this particular part matched the book a lot more then the previous movies. I enjoyed watching this film and cannot wait for part 2 to come out in theaters. :)

I read the books and enjoyed them, but not obsessively. Everyone who has ever read books made into movies wants the chance to at least see how they make it into a movie.
I was extremely disappointed. I know all movies are different from the books, which is not my complaint. My complaint is the cheesy music and drawn out "romantic" moments, which were not only unnecessary, but delivered terribly. Definitely not worth the price of a movie ticket.

Okay, so being an avid reader (and, ergo, already deeply caring about the characters involved), there was no question as to whether or not I'd see this movei . . . only how many times I'd see the movie while it is still in theaters.
I have to say, though, that I am generally pleased with the film adaptation of the first part of the book Breaking Dawn. I think they handled some parts extremely well: e.g., when Jacob refuses to bow to Sam's directive, when Jacob imprints, and when Bella transforms/heals. The cast did a much better acting job with this movie than on previous movies, particularly Kristen and Taylor, who gave performances that were quite convincing.
The one part of the book which was omitted in the movie that I would have loved to see was the "You got food in my hair!" line from Rosalie. However, I can see why the pace did not allow for that inclusion.
It certainly leaves us wanting more. Too bad we have to wait another entire year. Why couldn't they have come out with Part II in the summer?

As the first installment to the final book from the Twilight Series, you can expect the movie to maintain true to the story line. It definitely kept it's PG-13 status and was able to continue to captivate it's older audience. The CGI graphics were better enhanced and the movie did not appear to be so "cheap" for once. Sadly enough, Jacob does not take of his shirt more than he should, HOWEVER, he shows depth and maturity. The highly anticipated sex scene on Edward and Bella's honeymoon was just as short as seeing Jacob shirtless. One must remember, the book is extremely long and the movie has to keep the most pertinent content to make sense to the audience.

Best one so far. Keeping in mind this is a really silly franchise to begin with, get over it and just enjoy the ride! Stewart was scary skinny (hope most of that was cgi). She finally got to do more than wince a lot. She has turned into such a lovely woman that they are ending this just in time or we would no longer buy her as a teen. Taylor has 5:00 shadow that suits him well! Robert is lovely as always but also getting harder to buy he is "frozen" at 19. I want the Esme character to get back to her lovely redhead days. The dark hair is not a good look. Looking forward ton the final show. Next fall would be a mistake. Summer at latest. Let's get this over with so we can get the DVDs at home and drool in private!

Reread the book recently and the movie didn't disappoint. Loved the wedding scene. The birth scene was handled well, you got the vibe without it being too graphic. Now can't wait for the final installment.

I've been so excited to see this book finally be made into a movie! The Wedding was Beautiful! Heartfelt! Romantic! The Honeymoon was Breathtaking! Exhilirating! Blissful! Wonderful! Romantic! The birth of Renesmee was Exciting! Nerve-Wrecking! Worrisome! Then Relief, Happy. Then Sad because Bella died (so we thought). Then Amazing! Awesome! Thrilling Ending!!! Loved how Bella made the Change!! I HAVE to go see the movie AGAIN!! And, I loved the black VOLVO they drove!! People had to read this book to understand this movie...they didn't explain a lot of things, so you had to know why & what they were alluding to throughout the scenes. It Was An Awesome Movie!!

First of all I thought it was an alright movie I didn't think too much of it and it is definitely not one of my favorite movies(not even close). But it probably doesn't help much since that was the first Twilight movie I've ever seen so I didn't know some of the things but I did try to keep up with it. I did think the wolves were pretty sweet though. And the bloody parts were kind of disgusting and creepy but it didn't bother me to much. But it was just gross and weird though. Good acting. Overall an alright first twilight movie.

I loved this movie. It followed the book perfectly and brought it to life just as I had pictured it while reading. I had to come home and start reading the book again in the middle because I had to have more. I can't wait for the finale!!

Breaking Dawn Part 1 Is so AMAZING!!!! Bill Condon is BRILLIANT! He and The Cast & Crew did a WONDERFUL job! Although I enjoyed the books, I have been disappointed in all of the Twilight Saga movies - until now. Admittedly, my expectations were low, but I really enjoyed Breaking Dawn. I saw actual acting from the lead characters, and I thought the script differed from the book in several good ways. I'm looking forward to Part II.

I have been waiting for this movie to come out for what seems like forever! I was just amazed! The first few movies of the Twilight Saga were somewhat dissappointing to me but I would have to say that this one in itself makes up for the previous three!
