Like it's name, I would give it a "FIRST-CLASS" rating. It injected new blood for its cast this time which I was kind of not used to seeing new faces but then newness is good in a way...however, I do miss the beautiful JEAN GREY, HUGH JACKMAN and the wise-man look of the bald-headed DR. XAVIER...the new "MAGNETO" star (Michael Fasbender is great) he's like a breath of fresh air, he's so handsome with them wondrous baby round eyes!! I think the concept of having THE CIA is laughable and fitting, characterized as a male-chauvinist institution...don't I know it too...LOL!! I like the ending part where that CIA director said something like: "now you know why CIA doesn't have a woman working for CIA" which Emma Frost (January Jones) immediately countered them and got them fooled (and in real life, there are "EMMA FROSTs") ...this made for GREAT LAUGHS...Great Job there Hollywood! Hint! Hint! THANKS!!

I guess if you've never read in the comics how the X-Men came to be it's a good movie. Special effects were great. The storyline was a little slow and we really didn't get to see much action from the X-men outside of Magneto.

X-Men First Class has as a great plot, great characters, and exciting action that keeps the movie going. It diverges just enough from the first three movies to keep it new, but also remains true to the X-Men franchise. I think they could have done a little more with the progression of characters like Mystique, but the movie found interesting ways to tie-in with the story lines of the other X-Men movies. This is definitely how the X-Men movie franchise should have started! Go see it!

I've been a fan of the X-Men movies, but when franchises start doing prequels, I generally don't have high expectations. This movie was great by any standard though. All I can say is Extraordinary!!! Truly a well written, well edited, well directed superhero movie of all time! The plot, action, and characters all line up in a symphony of a movie. Ok to be honest I didn't have high hopes for this one I am a huge fan of the X-Men movies and comic books. I didn't think they could make this many movies and still keep them up to par. Granted "X-Men: The Last Stand" was not the best and it is what made me loose faith. However my Faith has officially been restored. This movie was defiantly back up to the previous standard. The only thing I am on the fence about is the fact that the very first scene is recycled from the first movie, as in it is the exact scene used over again. But that is not necessarily a bad thing I'm just not sure how I feel about it. Other than that I loved this movie. Lots of action and humor. And the plot line is great. If you are a Hardcore comic fan I will warn you they did change some things but any real hardcore comic fan knows that's just the nature of the beast.

This movie was so AMAZING for people who have previously watched X Men movies and people who have never watched it at all. The plot is wonderful and there is a lot of action in it that keeps your eyes glued to the screen every second until the end credits appear. I would recommend for anyone that is within the age limit though there are not even many bad scenes in it. It is a definite must see and I of course would not mind seeing it over and over again. It gives you a different perspective of the different characters and lets you see the whole storyline of X Men from each main characters point of view and it helps you see why the characters are how they are and what go them that way. Many people have expected for Superhero movies to have the entire movie action-packed while still being clever and comedic. X-Men: First Class certainly was that. This is the first X-men movie that I loved watching from beginning to end. The only other superhero movies that did that were Kick Ass and The Dark Knight. It was very gripping, and every character's power was really creative and made you envious. The story is straight-forward, yet has some suggestive scenes that could have been cut. Anyone who wants a good story along with some laughs and really great action scenes, I would suggest X-Men: First Class. So glad I went to see this. Summer Movie Man Review: 4.5/5

I loved this movie! It was nice to see the X-Men characters finally fleshed out properly. Very true to their actual comic book origins. My favorite was the treatment they gave Mystique and Professor X, and they did a great job with Magneto and Charles' relationship. Very nicely done!

Loved the movie and thought it was really good. Just some conflicting things magneto supposedly built the machine and the jet...a few other things. But overall a really good movie!!

Great casting. Great story. Awesome effects. These are not the static 2 demensional characters from the previous xmen movies. You get invested in the people behind the heros. The action is fantastic and you'll laugh quite a bit along the way. Highly recommend. One of the few movies that I would go see in the theater a second time.
