This movie is very touching. It shows the life of African Cats in great detail. Some parts can be a little scary for younger ones - intense music, dramatic narrator voice and death of some animals. (no gore or anything like that) I thought even the "scary" scenes were well put. We LOVED this movie and can't wait for the next one.

Absolutely amazing how these true stories of mothers struggles to protect and raise their young were illustrated!!! Disneynature is a great way to reconnect to nature and inspire action to save this amazing planet for our children!!!

I agree with another reviewer who commented that this movie was rated G and billed towards kids, but it was a little much for my 6 & 8 year olds. The movie itself was visually appealing, and entertaining. However, I don't think it should have been focused so much for the kids audience. A couple of parts were either really scary or very sad for a child. Also, our theater started the movie ten minutes early, then restarted the movie twenty minutes in, which was a huge inconvenience for everyone (those who missed the first part, and those who were forced to sit through the first part twice).

Being that this movie was Rated G I thought it would be more than appropriate for my 7 and 4 year old. Not the case at all - the movie was narrated in a very solemn tone and there were many parts of the movie that were too much to take and comprehend for my children. We left the movie early and were very disappointed.

What an amazing looks at life in Africa! I felt like I was right there with these majestic creature the entire movie. I thought Jackson did a great job in telling their story. One thing to be aware of, there are plenty of characters in the movie that don't make it. Might be a good idea to prep the little ones...just a thought. Overall, I say this one is worth seeing on the big screen...enjoy!

The video footage was on point. I've never seen such organized visuals displaying African nature and cats in this manner. This film is a must see! Also, there were a lot of kids in my theater who were very quiet. So, this film really keeps and captures your attention from the beginning to the very end. Now the narrator threw me off sometimes. It was something unprofessional about his tone. Other than that, I'm sure he was reading from a script so I can't complain about some things he said.

Jackson is the worst narrator ever-especially with his lack of articulation. The premise of the film was very nice, but Jackson brought the entire movie down. The idiot threw in so much cheesy colloquial comments that he drew away from the vast fascination that comes from a study of the lives of these majestic cats. This is definitely a netflix movie! You need to watch it with subtitles and mute him in order to really enjoy this film.
