Excellent movie. Helena Bonham Carter and Colin Firth are very convincing as King George the 6th and Elizabeth. Well developed plot with humor and sympathy that leaves you with a sense that royalty, although magestic, can be very human and common as well. Geoffrey Rush should win best supporting actor for his role as Lionel. Helena and Colin have a good shot as well at winning awards for their roles.

Best Movie I have seen this year. Colin Firth nailed this roll and the difficulties and hope of living with and managing a speech impediment. This movie was the best I have seen in ages. Acting is superb and the storyline was excellent, bold, with a sprinkling of levity. Run, don't walk to your theatre and see how great a movie can be.

Go see this movie. You won't be disappointed.
It has history, emotion, great acting, great writing, great directing...great everything.
No car chases or things blowing up every five minutes.
I only go to about two or three movies a year, I would go see this again.
