Grandpa took 5 year old Grandson to the movie for the afternoon and this is what they said: Grandpa said the animation was fantastic and the story line was cute. He had a really fun time with Grandson as it was simple enough for a child to understand and Grandson was excited at various parts as to what was happening. Grandson came home all excited talking non stop about the adventures his "friends" had. He wants everyone in the family to go see the movie with him of course.

I took my grandsons to see Alvin and the Chipmunks and we ALL LOVED IT! I loved it so much, the next weekend I took my granddaughters to see it. I can't wait for it to come out on BluRay. I haven't laughed that hard in so long. This movie brought back so many memories from my childhood. As a child, we had the record album of the Chipmunks' songs and listened to them all the time.

when i walked in to see this movie i figured it would be a kid movie that i wouldnt like. I was so wrong. IT WAS SO FUNNY! i laughed throughout the entire movie it was so hilarious. some of the actors may not be all that great but its all about the chipmunks. they sounded great and were making me die laughing the entire time. I went to go see it again i thought it was so good. Go see it you wotn be disapointed :)

Just like the first movie as far as keeping to the original characters. The best part is when Simon or "Semoan" is introduced. I like him alot but still want Simon around too, maybe they can be combined somehow.

My fiance and I took his 4 year-old niece to see this movie, and all three of us loved it! Lots of kid and adult humor, and the songs they sang were awesome! Definitely would recommend this movie to friends.
