My 14, 9 & 3 year old loved it. Especially the 9. I was hoping for something a bit more engaging, buy I guess that's wishful thinking. Overall great for kids, just ok for adults.

As a Christmas treat to my 3 Grandsons; Cameron, Carson & Isaac I let them pick a movie that our family could enjoy together. By their vote 2 out of 3, this was the movie chosen. We enjoyed it (sort of) since our family group consisted of 6 adults & 3 children. The critique was 50/50 positive/negative. While somewhat entertaining most of us agreed that it was just another Chipmunks movie, with Alvin always getting into trouble, and making up for it at the end of the movie. So we give it 2 1/2 stars out of 5.

Took the three grandkids to see this movie (6 year old twins and a 2 year old). Even the two year old was glued to the screen. Got great laughs from the adults as well! Would definitely recommend.

My children liked the movie. It kept their interest. As a parent, it was a slow in the beginning and picked up mid way. My twelve year old son said it was just okay but my seven year old daughter loved it.

I took my 3 yr old son to see this because he loves to first two. So much so that he asked the the first DVD before he was even a year old. This is the first time I've taken him to the movies to see Alvin & the Chipmunks. I have yet to sit through the first two, but I have to say, after seeing this 3rd installment I will probably watch them on DVD. It kept my attention, the songs were quite good and the story line was interesting enough. I was very thankful that it wasn't too long and it ended in a way that my son was satisfied enough to actually leave the theater.

i think this movie is the best movie i've seen yet! it is my favorite Alvin and the chipmunks movie! i recomend Alvin and the chipmunks chipwrecked to anyone who has'nt seen it. i am a 9 year old girl. i think it is one of the best family movies. although it is a bit scary, this is a great movie for all ages. sincerly, love'in it9!
