Fast Five is better than it has any right to be. It seeks to entertain, and it does every single minute. Octane and bullets is what this flick is serving up, and you'll want seconds.
Vin Diesel and Paul Walker steady the crew's shenanigans in Rio, while director Justin Lin applies a deft hand to the action scenes, and a keen eye to the city and the cars. A talented cast keeps even the most mundane scenes lively, to the point they're no longer mundane.
Special mention goes to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson for energizing for could have been a weak entry into a long-running franchise. He's the series' most interesting adversary, at times threatening to steal the movie from Diesel and Walker on more than one occasion.
Accept the ridiculousness, and have a blast. The bigger the crowd, the better; this is a film that pays off in a packed theater. Do yourself a favor, and stay after the credits.

the movie was good but didnt have enough racing...if i wanted to go see one of the bourne triligy i would have...fast and the furious is about racing and they just through way to much story line in to Fast Five. i loved to movie and would recomend it to everyone i know but they kinda through the normal story line of fast and the furious out the window on this one

I loved this movie! In my opinion this movie and the first of the series tie for the #1 spot. They were both incredible but for different reasons. The first definitely had more cool cars but the action in this movie blew me away. I'll admit, I'm a bit of a sucker for the romantic parts of it too. Everyone needs to see this movie. I have always been a fan of the F&F movies and I wasn't disappointed in this latest installment. It was great to see the old group back together again in this action packed adventure. Seriously one of the best movie experiences ever. It was the perfect mix of awful acting, cheesy dialogue, and over-the-top action scenes that made this movie so enjoyable.

"Fast Five" is truly a fast, action packed sequel to the "Fast & Furious"! What an awesome movie! You want action, you got it! You want hot men, you got it!! Even for you men, you want hot women, hot cars YOU GOT IT too........ What an awesome battle between the two (Dwayne&Vin)! GO SEE IT DAMMIT~~~~ FAST 5" hot damn...........recommend recommend recommend even if the theater was full of ROCK/VIN wannabe's!!!!! What more can I say, other than LOVED IT!!!
