This is by far the BEST "MISSION IMPOSSIBLE" ever made! TOM CRUISE is getting better in his acting...he looks even more fit than before...and can deliver a punch well! He looks damn good for his age too! Now as for the new cast/stars, PAULA PATTON was just ravishing! I like everyone in the film...especially the good sense of humor delivered by Tom's hi tech geek guy with his lovely British accent. I think this one knocks the socks off of any JAMES BOND movie! Don't you think? Damn I like that sleek race car Tom Cruise drove! Too bad I can't afford it!
I definitely want to see it in again, but in 3-D which I didn't see it the first time. And I would buy the DVD too. They ought to do MISSION IMPOSSIBLE films MORE OFTEN!!

Tom Cruise should get busy to make another one of these!!! This was the best one yet. The scenery of India and Moscow is incredible. It makes you want to go there. Definitely a must for the big screen.

A lot of great action. Tom Cruise seems a bit old for these stunts and of course most would kill the average man.
The movie is a bit long and also a bit confusing with masks, evil people and location changes.
It was just "OK". If you like this kind of movie, wait for the next James Bond.

Enjoyable action packed film! I found myself at the edge of my seat at moments. The cast connection was great! Tom Cruise, once again did not disappoint with his stunts and sense of humor! The underlying humor is refreshing. The was the writing tied everything together evening keep a thread of previous movies going through this one. Great job! Recommend seeing it! Would see it again on the big screen. IMAX would be amazing as welll!

From the moment you hear that haunting Mission Impossible theme, now updated, you know exactly what you are in for.
When the Mission Impossible team are set up, blamed, and disavowed for bombing the Kremlin, Ethan (Tom Cruise) and three of his team are left alone to stop a madman intent on starting a nuclear war.
Less dark than the last installment, Simon Pegg as the nerdy tech side kick adds a comedic touch to an otherwise non stop action film. JJ Abrams is intent on ratcheting up the intensity of this film. Not satisfied with climbing the measly Petronis Towers in MI 3, Cruise does another insane out of building scene on the130th floor of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.
Some of the gimmicks that the MI team use are both fascinating and funny, especially the screen that is supposed to mask their presence until Simon Pegg accidentally sticks his face in front of it. Its all classic but not as full of the double crosses you probably expect.
Cruise still can pull off his own stunts as he approaches age 50, but you now begin to feel that he is not quite as resilient as he once was. But this is still his baby, and he knows just how to keep you involved. Its exactly what you are expecting. Nothing more, nothing less.

Just when you think blockbuster movies are old news, along comes Ghost Protocol and stands out as a superb example of the genre. Tom Cruise understands the business as well as anyone, and this is a masterful production. It's astonishing how many movies fail because they were made from poor or mediocre scripts. Without a well-wrought story, a movie never stands a chance. But the Ghost Protocol script was tight, logical, and thrilling. And it's everything you could want an action movie to be. In the end, it's a well-directed, strongly acted thrill ride that is just big fun. See it in iMax.

Great action and story line. Ethan needed a little help from his friends in this one and got it. Plenty of jaw dropping scenes and make you jump sound effects. If you like Tom Cruise, Simon Peg or Michael Nyquist this is the movie for you.

There's a lot to enjoy in this next installment of M.I.. It has plenty of clever and tense moments (JJ Abrams style). But then there are these kinda child like moments which I would think it was Brad Baird style. This is his first live action film. He does have an incredible resume. Including The Incredibles, Ratatouie, and the under rated Iron Giant.The movie pumps with adrenaline but it at time feels bogged down with awkward or slow moments. Wait until u see the magnetic levitation system, It's really ridiculous. But it's a great time at the movies either way. I just think it's a step in the wrong direction after part 3.

While this isn't my favorite of the Mission: Impossible movies, it is still very entertaining. I appreciated that there's only one swear word in it - pretty rare for a PG-13 rating! Worth it to see on the big screen.

saw this in ETX, not in Imax, but still was great. Really liked the story line this time and the actors were great including Pegg.
Cruise was actually likeable in this one, especially after the last scene. The building climbing scenes are superb. You could actually take a date to this movie and not be bored! I thought the cinematography was well done and the music also. Worth the extra money to see it the best way you can!

Was fine--harmless enough. Saw it at the new Randhurst theater. Nice, sharp screen images and great sound/audio. But I kept getting kicked in the back of those high seatbacks and the ol' tuchas started to ache after 90 minutes. Still prefer the seats at AMC South Barrington.

Loved it! Best of the Mission Impossible movies yet. True to the spirit of the series, but amped up spectacularly! Opens like a James Bond movie, with a newly revised version of the theme song, but then slides smoothly into MI format. And quit all the complaining on Simon Pegg, he was perfect for the role, the story, and the movie!

This is the best of all the Mission Impossible films. For once it has a storyline that can be followed. The 37 minutes of true IMAX footage is spectacular. The scenes on the exterior of the world's tallest building in Dubai are heart stopping. For me, the only thing about the movie that I didn't care for was the more or less comic character played by Simon Pegg. I didn't feel his cornball activities belonged in this movie.

My wife daughter and I saw this last night and it was a great movie.
Overall extremely clean, nice humor thrown in, and some sweet action sequences.
Best of all it had a great story; believable characters and totally setup for Mi5!!
