I went to see this because my husband wanted to. I got so into it, I was jumping up, clenching my fists during the fight scenes and even clapped loudly several times when the people in the movie did. I felt like I was at a live fight. I got so invested in the characters, even Atom. I even cried at the end. It was such an AWESOME movie, I look forward to buying it when it comes out on DVD!

I went to see with my whole family and we all enjoyed it. My wife and daughter even got so excited during the fight scenes and they got out of their seats and cheered. Wonderful performances by all the actors and great special effects.

Walking a thin line to cater to adults as well as children this movie hits a home run. I took my two nephews < ages 7 - 10 > and one neice <age 11>. All three enjoyed it. Worth seeing on the big screen. Time is running out I'm sure. Only two showings a day at my theater.

Real Steel is a great action packed movie with a good story to go with it. This movie has few dull moments and will either keep you on your toes or keep you laughing. The plot is easy to follow. The only critique about the movie I have is the ending. I'll leave it for you to decide but definitely a must see.

Took my Wife and 19 yo Daughter and we all enjoyed this movie very much. Plenty of action through out the entire movie and in our opinions a very well written and directed movie. The run time was 2hrs. 7min. but it didn't seem that long. I would recommend this movie to all.

There are a number of interesting threads in this movie. There's the age-old problem of fathers who ignore their sons to pursue their careers. There's the question of whether money, security, and stability are really the only important things parents offer to their kids. And then, of course, there's the question of whether a sentient robot is really a person, or just a collection of parts. And there's the question of whether technology is more important than the human element. Real Steel brings together all of these threads into an entertaining and captivating story, highlighted by excellent acting by Hugh Jackman and Dakota Goyo!

Due to a power outage in my area, I decided to take my 15 y/o daughter to the movies without any clue of what to see. Went to see Real Steel due to the fact that it was the next movie starting. Really glad that we were so lucky. This was a great movie. I'm not talking Oscar winning, but a lot of fun... we laughed, my daughter cried, we cheered... this movie was A LOT better than I expected. I would recommend it to anyone.
