This would have to be my all time favorite movie. I really can not wait till it comes out on blu-ray. This movie was amazing. Great acting, heart beating performance. I went with my brother to go and watch this. Fighting scenes were unbeatable. I want to watch it again and again. Called all my friends after watching it and recommend it to everyone. Please watch, was having a crappy week at work today. Totally made my weekend.

Howdy guys, Normally I don't review movies, but I felt compelled to review this one for y'all. Seriously, one of the best movies ever! I know it's hard to possibly believe, but it is true. Think of how great "The Fighter", and "Rocky" were..."Warrior" is better. The acting is amazing, story was uplifting and draws you in from the start. I am not knocking "Rocky" & "The Fighter" I love those movies, but "Warrior" is truly amazing. I don't want to ruin anything for anyone, but I do want y'all to check it out. I will say for the action lovers, the fights are on point. For the stroy lovers, the entire story is a full mix of emotional, deep, insightful, and uplifting material. At the end, you want to almost stand up and cheer yourself....So my point is, this is an excellent film, and go see it, you won't be disappointed.

I went to see WARRIOR with my boyfriend last night. I chose it because I had read very good reviews ... but I was skeptical ... sort of expecting a one-dimensional, worn-out, predictable ROCKY re-hash. Was I ever wrong. Even though this film is 2 hours plus, I was glued to the screen for all of it. It is a complex study of a damaged family, populated with multi-layered characters and a rich, thoroughly engrossing plot. The fight scenes are gripping, shocking and amazing ... and Nick Nolte simply MUST be nominated for an Oscar for his heartbreaking performance. It is definitely his comeback role. Lastly, this movie is not tied up with a pretty red bow at the end (which most audiences sadly seem to prefer), and you are left to draw your own conclusions about the fate of each figure. I highly recommend this film ... I am still mulling it over and truly impressed by the stellar performances. Go see it.

I was really hoping that it would be entertaining and to say the least it was. A nice mix of storyline and action, does justice to the MMA sport. The actors/actresses did a very good job and I would recommend this as one of the MUST WATCH summer movie hits !!

This movie is a lot more than two brothers in the ring. There's a good story line behind it. The ring scenes aren't too graphic so the whole family could enjoy and will keep you on the edge of your seat. Great movie- Should win an award!!

Amazing acting by Nick Nolte, Joel Edgerton, and Tom Hardy. Academy award worthy. Powerful story and some very moving and emotional scenes between father & son, and between the two brothers. The fight scenes are thrilling and exciting and well done. Even if you are not into UFC, you will get into it because of the story. The first half of the movie is paced slower, but be patient because the pace picks up as the fighting begin. I hope this movie gets some Oscar love because is deserves it.

My husband, son (age 11) and I saw this movie last night. The guys loved the fight scenes. I admit I closed my eyes a few times during the especially graphic scenes (which tells you how real they looked!). I really loved the subplot involving Nick Nolte as the recovering alcoholic trying to find forgiveness from his boys and between his boys. Nick Nolte should win the Academy Award for his stunning performance. Bottom line - everyone in the family will find something to love about this movie. Also, Jennifer Morrison was truly memorable as the wife who doesn't want her husband to fight. Go see this movie!

You don't have to be a MMA fight fan to appreciate this movie. The movie has many facets that have faced us all as human beings at one time or an other. The movie revolved around real life issues that face many of us in our personal & family lives. This is a must see movie! Everyone involved in creating this movie should be commended for creating this movie without the regular F-bombs and sexual content throughout. I think everyone can relate to many issues that happened in the past to the brothers and the final message of "FORGIVENESS". Great Job!!

After seeing the trailer I never intended to see this movie. I assumed it will be full of cliche and cheesy. But what a nice surprise! After reading all the positive reviews posted on movietickets I decided to go with my 13 years old daughter. We both loved it and she is very difficult (she love unicorns). We both came out of the theater is a such good place. Ending is perfect.
The story is excellent, the fact there is not a drop of blood during the fight scene made them watchable and most important enjoyable. And because of the violence of this sport I am so glad they choose this direction, it gave an other perspective of this sport. I am a woman and I loved all the fight scenes and wanted more. I felt in the cage with the fighters. Tom hardy abs are magnificent. Nick Nolte is amazing. Somehow I am wondering if it's not better than "the fighter"!

The movie is a sports masterpiece. You find yourself cheering on both brothers as there story unfolds and you see the purpose for them to fight in the Sparta Tournament. And as each fight starts you become tense as you watch to see how they are going to win, even though the preview already tells you they make it to the final. But as the movie reaches the end you don't care anymore about there reasons for fighting but see to brothers separated for many years reunite and see the true power of brotherhood. Needless to say, I text my brothers right after seeing the movie to let them know how much I loved them.

So far this year, "Warrior" stands as the best drama or action movie I've seen. There's a real story here about two brothers who were scarred by a drunken father--played to a tee by Nick Nolte. One of the brothers (played by Edgerton) is a physics teacher, has a family, is caught up in a financial mess as a result of the housing crash, and is in desperate need of money to save his family. The other brother (Tom Hardy's character) is wanted by the military for having deserted his squad and consequently causing the death of another soldier. Hardy's character is in it to give the money to the widow of the soldier whose death he caused. Amid all of this drama, the two brothers are underdogs in a mixed martial arts (MMA) contest in which the last man standing takes the entire $5,000,000 pot. Each fight is staged for maximum enjoyment. We see a David and Goliath-like match between Edgerton's character and a massive Russian fighter built like a tank; we see several fights with Hardy crushing his opponent instantly and executing the scene with a much-needed infusion of comic relief. I can honestly say that this movie has it all and deserves every rave review it gets. My hats off to the actors, director and writers for pulling off this complicated combo of drama and emotions. I really enjoyed the movie The Fighter last year, but this one tops that one in my book.

It succeeds on many levels.A family love story emegres from the brutal world of MMA.Beethoven,Melville,Newton are brilliantly woven into a screenplay deserving of an Oscar. Best Screenplay-Best Score-Best Actor-Best Supporting Actor/Actress-Best Director- Ultimately, Best Picture. Nick Nolte: Best Actor. The Oscars will be a marvelous night for the cast and technical staff.Gavin O'Connor is a genius. An aside-The high school students are spot on.

I was blown away by the depth they covered in this movie - this movie pulls at something deep down inside of you. The power of forgiveness - which we are taught first by Jesus - this movie shows what happens to those who try to give it and to those that ask for it...much, much more than just a fight movie - everyone must go see!!!

This movie is EXCELLENT!!! You will be on the edge of your seat throughout most of the movie. I wanted to stand up and yell at times. You will laugh. You will cry. It is very touching and the acting in this movie is portrayed very real. This is an excellent movie. Very minimal language as well.

I walked into the theater hoping i wasn't hyping this too much in my own head. i heard that two songs by The National would be used, so I was super excited just by that. but aside from everything, was superb. Was expecting a mediocre movie, instead, there was a great story and an incredible amount of action throughout the entire movie. And with this type of movie, there was almost no blood, so it shouldn't bother most people. Great Choice.
