Inception was a visually powerful movie and challenged your imagination. It was just too long. Could have been a half hour shorter. They also did not explain scientifically how the "dream machine" worked and how you shared dreams. They ending was a bit lame keeping you guessing.

I saw this movie in IMAX without not knowing what to expect and i was blown away by the plot, the graphics, the characters, specially Arthur, he was AMAZING. This movie is incredible. The creativity, the depth, and the way it keeps your brain firing throughout the entire experience. I was pleasantly surprised the feeling Inception left in its wake—the way my brain and body felt exhausted from constantly concentrating and suspense of it all. It has been a LONG time since I've seen a refreshing story. I love them, but how many based on book movies or sequels stemming from a once original idea can one take? Refreshing storyline that keeps you thinking and the imagination flaring. Finally, a film that actually is brave enough to think that the audience has a mind and can use it. INCEPTION is a film that not only is intelligent, but also spiritual, action-packed and jaw dropping (Will any film even come close to topping that shot of Paris curling on itself? Really?). Christopher Nolan is one of the few directors living whose films I will see without pausing (Cameron, Tarantino and anything by Pixar are also in that rarified community) and that is because he not only gives you a diet rich in imagination but also depth and characterization. DiCaprio is finally aging into his face with the result that you can now believe his character has a history, Gordon-Levitt can fight as well as act, Page has to bring the exposition but does it well, Watanabe is both mysterious and sympathetic, Cotillard is heartbreaking and Cillian Murphy shows that he can also play a human with a heart. I-LOVED-THIS-MOVIE!!

Inception was a wonderful movie. I don't make it to the theater that much, but made sure I saw this one. Glad I did as it was extremely entertaining and kept you watching the whole time. Nolan is a great director and even better writer. This is a Hollywood Blockbuser with an actual well thought out stroyline. Seeing it in IMAX was also a great treat. For some it may be confusing at times, but for me I followed along quite well. Please go see it as it might be the best movie of the year.

Inception was the best movie of the year so far by far. It was well done by all the actors involved and the plot was not too hard to follow. You could see & understand what was happening throughout the film, although there was still enough mystery behind it to keep you attentive throughout. Seeing it on the IMAX was amazing!! The musical score was well done as well, and DiCaprio, as always, was the man. The only slow part was when they were setting up their plan, but there was information in the scenes so that you were not lost through the remainder of the movie. Very unique movie.

The scene where Ellen Page's character folds the city streets of Paris like a 3-dimensional cube MUST be seen in IMAX (preferably in the front rows). Note the movie does not take up the WHOLE IMAX screen as it's shot in 70mm. But still you become dazed and astounded by it,. The music similar to The Dark Night movie is done by Hans Zimmer, who also penned the soundtrack music to the (FPS-First Person Shooter) video game: Call of Duty - Modern Warfare 2. Very ominous, eerie.
Try to follow the plot of layers in which dreams become levels, and time is distorted. But don't try too hard as you'll ended up missing the movie. That's why I most likely will see it again to understand the points about "limbo" and whether or not it's a plot hole.
Definite scenes reminiscent of The Matrix. Nolan's direction is great and loved all his movies (didn't realize he made The Prestige which I loved and highly recommend).
And after a horrible summer of movies (Iron Man 2 failed to be better than the original), Sex&the City was suprisingly funnier than the first (to me anyway), I was looking forward to this movie and the $20 I spent for IMAX and parking was DEFINITELY well worth it. A movie I'd buy the Blu-ray disc.
Hollywood needs to step up their game and put some effort into movies.

Beautifully shot and evocative of dreaming, but had plot holes that you (literally) could drive a freight train through. Still, well worth it for the exciting third act and originality. Not as layered or deep as it purports to be, but at least it tried to be something special, which is more than most films attempt.

INCEPTION puts movie-goers into a dream state from the get go. As a movie-goer, I found myself retracing the main character Leonadro DiCaprio's character steps from the beginning to end. INCEPTION is riveting, complex, and shows conviction. I think certain parts of the movie drag on but overall INCEPTION is a well done movie, and makes you think on many levels.

This movie was outstanding. I will definitely buy it when it comes out on Blu-Ray. As always DiCaprio delivers a wonderful performance (great job by Joseph Gordon-Levitt as well) and the story is truly mind bending. One of those type of films that has you leaving the theater pondering deep questions and alternate realities. The graphics were really great, actually believable and on the IMAX screen they were ridiculous and crystal clear. Definitely go see this flick while it's still in theaters.
