I went to see Inception on IMAX. The sound and the picture were fenomenal. I liked the plot thaugh it seemed they tried to take it a little too far. The ending was predictable. Overall, excepted for the actual concept I was not astonished.

This movie should be experienced in an IMAX for sure. The special effects and sound are crisper. There is a lot to comprehend so it would be better to see it again and catch a lot that you may have missed the first time---kind of like figuring out a puzzle or walking thru a maze. Mr. Nolan does it again!

Leo di Caprio, as always an immaculate performance, he does angst and dark drama so well. All the elements of dreaming incorporated so well throughout the plot and effects. From moving through rooms without gravity, to the element of time, Nolan succeeds in making us buy in to the movie's basic premise of shared dreams. The only criticism I have is that I had a hard time investing in the prime motivation for all the action in the movie, i.e. to change the direction of a major corporation. Really? Intellectually this didn't seem reason enough to go through such danger and complexity. However, don't miss it. And see it in an IMAX theater if you can.

Don't hesitate just go. Get there early, go pee and don't go hungry you won't want to miss a second. Go with the flow and don't stress over the details. All shall be revealed. IMAX was well worth it and I wish they would start updating the theaters to make this the standard. I grow weary of the pops and scratches on film. The IMAX Trailer For TRON LEGACY also rocked, will probably go see another IMAX movie just to see an expanded trailer when it gets closer to release.

If you go into this movie believing its a complicated movie to follow you will get lost in trying to be smarter than the movie. Relax and let your mind just go with the flow. The movie is well done and holds your attention easily enough so that you can figure it out as it goes. The cast is very complimentary to each other and there is a very nice balance of character wit and brains. Each person carries their role well and although Leonardo is an exceptional actor he does not steal the show but is confident and believable enough as his own character that he compliments and allows others talents to shine through also! If I had three thumbs, this one would get all three thumbs up! I never revisit a movie theater and this is only the second movie I've seen this year that is worth another trip to the theater to see it! It is so good that you don't even know its 2 1/2 hrs. long ! A must see if you have a hungry imagination as this will feed it nicely!

Saw it with the old lady on a Sunday morning because I'm, shall we say, "thrifty". I also detest a theater chock full of bag rustling members of the double digit club( ? keep reading ).This is a fun flick with solid performances, plenty of amazing action/FX and an imaginative premise. 60 - 75 - Pretty lights ,.. poorly fitted helmet made it difficult to enjoy such a long film
75 - 90 -Enjoyed the film,..enjoyed the $5 cokes and $10 popcorn,..thought Will Smith would have been a better pick for lead role
90 - 105- Got off on the action scenes and some of the special effects but found the whole dream thing pretty hard to believe(?)
105 - 120- Fun flick with solid performances
120 - 135- Never heard of it
135 - and beyond - Found theater layout to be " all wrong " , poorly fitted tin foil helmet made it difficult to enjoy film

I did not have high hopes for this movie so I was pleasantly surprised that it kept me enthralled for 2 and half hours. The script was intriguing and complicated yet not too complicated to follow. What surprised me most about Inception is the fact that this movie is not about special effects at all. Even more, you can remove all the effects and illusions and the story is still at its richest. This movie is very well written, and edited in a way that let you discover one piece of the plot at a time. It gets you on the edge of your chair trying to learn more and more of the story. I'll finish saying that, in my concept, this movie is brilliant!

This is an absolutely incredible movie, but it has enough mystery elements to it that you're best off not knowing too much about it before you see it. Christopher Nolan has once again shown himself to be one of the best directors in the business. On the other hand, IMAX is definitely not worth an extra $4 per ticket, especially with the faux-IMAX screens that are being rolled out all over the country. The screen is a bit bigger, the picture may be a little bit better, and the sound is louder, so much so that any improvement in sound *quality* is imperceptible.

Here we have another example of Nolan's infallible ability to make outstanding films. Now, yes if you go back Batman Begins could have been better; but, in the grand scheme of filmmaking it was a cut above so many. Inception manifests a man's imagination and turns it into something the masses can view and enjoy and talk about. Its a movie about dreams...that means its going to be incredulous, that means you need to go into the movie and let go of reality. It means you need to take a moment to remember that not everyone goes to the movie to pay $15 for something they could see at the kitchen table or by looking out the front window. Like a great a book, you can truly lose yourself in this film. My only qualm: Nolan could use some direction on directing action scene; his heart is in the right place, but his final cuts of ation sequences always seem lacking. Notwithstanding that minor setback, Inception is worth seeing twice, both in Imax.

My husband and I loved the movie. We decided to see this movie on the Imax screen and it definitely added to the excitement of the movie. You must be able to pay attention through the whole movie in order to get it. Great action and Leonardo can't get any better!

The first 15 or so minutes of the film I found awkward and wondered if Ihad made a mistake. However shortly I became enthralled and thought it was a worthy movie. I am a fan of Leonardo and Ellen Page so that even made it better. The entire theater groaned at the ending, very cleverly motivated and left everyone speculating. I would like to watch again to pay closer attention to the storyline.

From start to finish, this movie was absolutely amazing. It is one of those films that comes out every decade or so that blows you away; such as when the Matrix came out, aside from Keanu Reeve's acting. This movie is incredibly innovative, extremely complex and thought provoking, and DiCaprio's acting is flawless. There is not one bad thing about this movie. I actually found myself at the edge of my seat towards the end, as cheesy as that sounds. I love movies like Memento, and this being written and directed by the same men, the Nolan brothers, meant it exceeded my expectations infinitely. Must be seen on the IMAX for the full effect. This movie is meant to be seen numerous times to fully understand all the complexities, both physical and psychological.

Inception was a great movie and under normal circumstances you should go see this movie in theaters and if you have the opportunity, view it in IMAX especially.
The movie is slow starting but this movie needs that kind of start to slowly immerse the viewer into the world that these characters live in. Extractors go into people dreams in order to learn their secrets and though it sounds confusing, the painful beginning actually describes the full process in how it works. The main job in this movie isn't to extract information but rather to incept information into a person which is apparently a lot harder than stealing it. Nolan goes to the extent of creating multiple settings and storylines to keep the story interesting and in the end leaves the viewer wanting more.
It's no Batman but after the slew of failures we've seen this summer, movie goers will take anything that doesn't have a cliffhanger ending that will ultimately result in a money sequel, or anything that has to do with vampires.
