OMG is all I want to say. This is the best movie of 2010 thus far. The cast was excellent. Chris Nolan is a true visionary genius. If you go see just one movie this is it. The plot was captivating. And the 2 and 1/2 time frame feels like you were only there for minutes. It's an Irish Matt's must see movie.

We saw the movie in IMAX which was really intense. The sound and the action scenes are borderline dangerous in IMAX. The movie was good very interesting concept. The supporting characters could have been developed more, and that may have made it more interesting. The ending seems up to viewer that is all I will say.

This was possibly the best film I have ever seen. It's genre can only be described as a combination of action, science fiction, romance, and drama. I'm sad to say that comedy was left on the back burner on this one. All genres were executed with great precision so that each were able to be discerned without any of them taking precedence over the others. There is a degree of confusion in the film that does keep you thinking throughout the film. The visuals gave the film an epic feel.

I honestly can't find any flaws in this movie. Not enough Michel Caine? Ellen Page seemed a little too earnest at times? Great pacing, a couple slow parts in the middle, but I felt they were necessary for the plot. Glad I show it in IMAX Experience - awesome sound, great look, etc. Can't say enough good things...

...but I loved it. Every aspect was mind-boggling, and just when you thought you didn't know what the hell was going on, it suddenly all came together. I really liked this movie. I like movies where you can not predict the ending. I was on the edge of my seat most of the time. I felt that it was quite complex or complicated to follow. Which is what I like keeps me awake during movies. I liked how the ending is left up for you to figure and discuss. I might see it again just to see if I can gather any clues to help me come to a better conclusion.

In a time where Hollywood keeps dishing out garbage, this was quite a refreshing change. Chris Nolan is one of the best directors out there and on the way to becoming one of the greatest of all time. I am astonished at how someone can come up with something like this. This movie is like The Matrix, Videodrome, Dark City, and Dreamscape all rolled into one on acid to the 20th degree. Every second of the 2 hours and 28 minutes is significant, mesmerizing, meticulous, and engaging. Must be seen at least twice and definitely in IMAX. This amazing piece of work will be remembered as one of the greatest sci-fi movies ever. Bring your thinking caps. The two or three people that gave this a negative rating probably accidently wandered in the theater thinking that they were going to see Fast and the Furious 3 or some other mindless dribble drabble.

Ironic that after the onslaught of CGI, "real" feels like a special effect. Thank you Chris Nolan for taking the time and effort to wow us with good old-fashioned "movie magic." The best, most convincing parts of the film feel more real because they are more real. No debate here as to whether the zero gravity is "photo realistic". Go and support an ingenious, creatively written, beautifully acted, brilliantly directed movie. And be prepared to be awed.

The Down Town Los Angeles bootlegger may have a hard time selling this film. That's because it's so INTELLIGENT that the average Joe or Jose will probably get REAL confused.
However, I totally enjoyed the intricate levels of entertainment that this movie provided. It had a sophistication that is missing in contemporary motion pictures.
The story unraveled in the most unpredictable way. And I was captivated by the world of dreams within dreams.
DiCaprio's performance was intense! As was the entire cast. While the visuals were completely stunning and very much worth the IMAX experience!
Christopher Nolan really out did himself as a filmmaker; writing, directing, and producing a provocative film that entices the mind, and speaks to the soul!

I saw most of the previews for the movie and they looked good but they really could not do justice to just how much of a mind trip the movie was. The movie is action packed and although it could qualify to have been made in 3D, it didn't need it. The story and the cinematography stood on their own. The acting was good and although Leonardo DiCaprio was the big name, the entire cast was utilized on the same level so that there really was no one star of the movie (a team effort). This played to the films advantage. I go to the movies perhaps once every two to three years (sometimes longer). Two movies got me to the theater in the past 6 months, Avatar and Inception. I saw Avatar twice int he theater and I will be seeing Inception again also.

This is the summer that's brought us Toy Story 3 and Inception, which will likely be maintained as my favorite films. Inception is smart, tense, thrilling and perfectly executed. Seeing the film twice, now, my favorite aspect of the movie, without spoiling it, is that there are genuinely AT LEAST 4 different conclusions one can make about the events that take place, and the flawless nature of the movie makes it so each and every one is plausible. My hope is that middle America, instead of seeing the film A. as a simple sci-fi heist, B. as overly confusing, or C. as unclear to allow for answers in a sequel. Instead I hope that have the mental capacity, as a whole, to give this film the praise and appreciation it deserves as a self-contained piece of work. Must see. A PERFECT film.

Simply put, the best movie of 2010. The Dark Knight meets The Matrix.... The movie is a mind bending unparallel visual clinic by Chris Nolan. IMAX would be almost required. A must see twice!

seeing the trailer i expected to have some trouble understanding this film..........after seeing the film i have to say the contrary. its really well explained. i want to see it again to catch some of the things i missed the first time. def. check it out on imax.

Entertaining film & well acted; just seemed to be trying to be a little too smart for its own good. Disappointing amounts of gunfire; seems as though a movie with a plot this inventive could've come up with more exciting ways to build tension than incessant amounts of mindless shooting.

I love Christopher Nolan and his original material doesn't disappoint. This movie was engaging, entertaining, thought-provoking and had a great cast to top things off. I'd even see it again in the theater, which is rare for me these days. Highly recommended.
