***WARNING: If you don't understand the basics of plot, there's a spoiler in here. I really wanted to like this movie. But it's a total bait-and-switch. It starts out as a "thinking" movie and turns into nothing but cock-and-bullets. By the time the 107th explosive brick was detonated, I detonated myself into the lobby before finding out the special secret or whatever. At least I didn't ask for my money back like I did for Saw.

I've seen "Inception" twice, might go a 3rd time, can't wait to own the DVD. If you're willing to pay attention and think a little more than with most summer movies, you'll be richly rewarded by the gorgeous, inventive film. It's "The Matrix" crossed with "Being John Malkovitch".

Mol is running an inception on Cobb. She's planting the idea his world is not real, hoping to wake him up from limbo. He should have jumped from the building with her. The top will keep spinning at the end, but the fact he even spun it means the doubt is starting to take hold. A good sign her inception will ultimately succeed.

Save your money. Don't get sucked into thinking its a deep movie, its a purposely confusing implausible movie. I'm seeing a lot of "I saw the movie twice," people. Wow did they sucker you in as attended. They make implausible/confusing movies on purpose, so you go twice! It's exhausting, mind numbing, and predictable. What if Leonardo's symbol spinning thing fell over in his dream? When they start getting into deeper levels of dreams in a dream it gets laughable. In sue the rolling eyes!

I think I will be able to make a final verdict after watching a second time. Upon first viewing I thought it was visually impressive and at times fun but way too long. For the most part, I didn't care what happened to anyone and could never really buy into the idea that any of what I was seeing was possible.
After reading some theories about the movie and realizing that they are probably right I feel like I would either like this a lot more watching it again from a different perspective or completely hate it.

I'm not much of a critic, but this film had me sucked in, eyes peeled, fingers gripping the armrests... It was such an awesome concept, lots of information, but it all makes sense as pieces are put together throughout the movie. And the end... BRILLIANT!!! Its like when a band ends their set with a kick ass song that makes you wanting more!! In this case, it was such a clever ending that keeps you thinking, and dreaming about it the night you see it. I want to see it again and see if I can watch a little closer to details throughout the whole movie. I'm rambling... JUST GO SEE IT!!!

I was engaged throughout ever moment of this film. The story line is thought provoking, the sound and visuals are amazing and the overall aesthetic experience is extremely satisfying. The pace of the movie is swift, which may turn off some audience members who prefer to be told a story (rather than experience a story). If you enjoy sci-fi, you will enjoy the mind-bending realities within the film, but there is also an under tone of human vulnerability, which should intrigue a broader audience. I thought Inception was a terrific film. It took a little while to wrap my head around what exactly was going on, but once you understand it, the movie gets more intense. I like movies that make you pause and engage your thought processes. Leonardo DiCaprio is such a wise actor, choosing films that are high quality and well written. I am so glad that he doesn't settle for B-quality scripts. Inception is a great flick, I would definitely recommend it.

This is the one movie I would recommend paying extra to see in IMAX, it is worth it. This is a great visual movie, with a lot of action sequences. I hate to be the voice of dissent, but while this movie was certainly entertaining, it was a far cry from a gripping mind-bender. Once the mission was declared, a fairly predictable series of events unfolded right up to the end, wrapped up in some good old pseudo-romantic drama. The IMAX experience was no more impressive than could be delivered by any high-quality HDTV, so kids, save your money for extra popcorn and just see the regular version.
Cillian Murphy was a very welcome surprise though, I must say.

You can literally feel the logic of the plot unwind as the drama escalates. Was the script written by a team of video game enthusiasts who were all paid to read Freud for Dummies? Just saw Inception in IMAX, and it's the only way to go. We didn't even need our glasses. Taut yet stylish mindbender with outstanding performances by DiCaprio and the entire cast. Not to mention the incredible special effects. As a Sci-Fi thriller, it's kind of scary to think that it could be a reality. Go easy on the soda and don't even take a restroom break because every detail and nuance is essential to fully understand and enjoy this fine film. Will make for great convo with friends and family.

Chris Nolan as a director, has shown his superb performances at the helm of the revitalized Batman franchises, was not a fluke.
This is a well crafted film from writing, to direction, to the screen that doesn't miss a beat. From a script that evokes a high tech version of "Heat," to the stunning breakthrough imagery of the "Matrix," this film will be a landmark for it creativity and execution of an intelligent thriller like no other.
Go to the bathroom, and get your treats before it begins to leave the station. Once this train starts rolling, you'll be paralyzed unable to get out of your seat.
See it in iMax and remind yourself to keep your jaws shut or you'll drool all over yourself, as you wait for the next Batman from this great director.

I can say without hesitation that Christopher Nolan is one of the greatest filmmakers of the current generation. With Inception he once again hits a home run. From the very opening to that last enigmatic shot, Nolan creates a taut thriller that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats - seriously some guy sitting near me was at the very edge of his seat almost the whole time. I could gush about the cinematography and the chilling and most excellent score, but I will just say this: Go and see this movie! This movie is stunning and very carefully crafted. You have to be able to let your imagination run wild to fully appreciate it. Action is constant and you may end up at the end of the movie with your popcorn bag still in your hand. This is one fantastic sci-fi epic. I am amazed at even the attempt to create a movie with the complexity of effects required by this plot. If you are a sci-fi fan, or even just an admirer of great effects, this is a must see.

Many of the films I have seen over the years have been undermined by their own stories. A great idea but badly executed, badly acted or badly shot. Inception and its goals were all achieved. Flawless execution. One of the best films I have ever seen.

Saw the movie on the IMAX and it was visually beautiful. Innovative plot. I didn't think the movie had any big momentum moments, but it didn't drag at any points either.
