What a crazy, gut-wrenching, inspired, nail biting, horrifying film. What a great piece of filmmaking from this guy and it will be one of the most schocking films you've seen in a long time. For being an independent horror film it gets an A+ from me. See it for sure, just not alone

Similar to Open Water. Fair acting,poor filming and just really left us all feeling uptight.

I wasn't sure what to expect after reading the synopsis on this one. It opened like another "young people in trouble" movie, and I got a bit leery. But it turned out to be pretty good. It's the 2003 movie "Open Water" set during winter. My only small complaint was if the majority of the scenes were truly filmed outside in the cold, you should have been able to see their breath when they were talking. You couldn't, and it made me feel like it was staged. Other than that, it was pretty good and worth the time.

When a friend asked if I would like to go to the premiere I was like what the hell? When I saw the trailer I was like I can't wait. After the movie was over I felt like a little kid raving about it like the first time I saw Jurassic Park. It was one of the best times I've had at the movies in a long time. Of course all my questions surrounding the possiible escapes were answered by the director and cast after the movie in a Q and A. Excellent job by Green who shows that he's going to be the next big thing in Hollywood. Excellent job by the cast who was really sixty feet in the air in freezing weather with real wolves. No Jacob Black's in this one.

This flick is SO good. Not my usual choice for genre but reviews have been so positive that I trudged through bad weather to see it. And so glad I did. The movie is masterfully crafted so that I went through a full range of emotions. The cinematography is spectacular. Ashmore and Zegers are strong. Emma Bell conquers. Totally recommend. Not in all theaters so make the effort to find it!

Writer/director Adam Green's lean suspense story wrings every bit of pathos possible out of a thin, yet terrifying concept. The acting is compelling and the characters are well-drawn, but the real star here is Green. Every horror and thriller filmmaker need to take note of this young man's carrer trajectory.With his third film (after HATCHET and SPIRAL) he has shown a mastery of craft and raised the bar for independent filmmaking. I can't wait to see what this man can do with a budget.
