This was truly an enjoyable movie. My wife and I enjoyed it, we laughed, we smiled. Yes it was predictable, but if I want to spend an evening trying to outguess the plot, I'll go see a murder/mystery. It's good to see a movie from time to time that just entertains you. The scenery was wonderful, and Amy Adams is just awesome!

Loved it! It was upbeat, funny and although a predictable storyline, extremely entertaining.
Amy Adams does a wonderful job in her role and Matthew Goode isn't bad on the eyes!!
Great date night movie...even the guys will love it!

Predictable or not, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It entertained me & gave me the ending I wanted. Amy Adams is her usual delightful character & Matthew Goode made me wish I could find my own Irish cutie. I will buy the DVD when it comes out so I can watch it again.

This was a very light, feel good movie. It was a predictable plot line, but was lighthearted, had some funny moments, and I left the theater feeling like I had been entertained. No violence, nudity, crude humor, or bad language.

Absolutely it was predictable, but I couldn't stop from thinking during the moving how Amy's culinary skills for Julie and Julia were probably helpful for the kitchen scene at the B&B, or how Matthew felt like he was repeating himself by pretending to be married, sleeping on the floor and then jumping in bed...remember his movie with Mandy Moore. Anyway, it was different watching this movie, while thinking of two others. As far as Chick flicks go...yes, you will get your happy ending, but I don't really like chick flicks, so take this advice. If you want to see the country side of Ireland it is well worth it. Beautiful country!
