After the greatness that was the live Plan 9, I rushed to see this, and it was well worth it.
The guys picked out some of the most horrifying and bizzare short films from the 1950's and provided brilliant commentary.
The short film of the Rifftrax guys own making at the end of the presentation was also hilarious. I look forward to more original films by them.
After the two great live events so far, and the usual greatness provided online, I really can't imagine that anything the Rifftrax guys put on screen will be anything less than comedy gold.

This event was a little different than the first. There was no opening musical act and no host. The main event started right away after a few words from the guys. My only complaint was the audio and it seemed to get better as the show went on. I couldn't hear the riffers very well at first. Other than that the show was hilarious. I would highly recommend these live shows to anyone who's willing to try it if they are not familiar with it. I had some friends with me who were familiar with MST3K but not huge fans and they had a great time.
I was surprised how little Weird Al contributed but what he did do was funny.
To sum up, I loved it.

My family used to get up every Saturday morning and watch reruns of MSTie on Comedy Central and later on SciFi. When the show ended and the reruns ceased we were saddened at the loss of our favorite show. Since then we have survived on Blockbuster Online rentals and my collection of older episodes on VHS. Going to see RiffTrax Live in the theater was a real treat. Seeing Mike, Bill and Kevin perform live in the old MSTie fashion has been great, if too infrequent. We purchased tix in advance and my kids looked forward fo the show for weeks! My only complaint is that they aren't doing this more often. Oh, and I was also a little dissapopinted that special guest Weird Al wasn't onscreen more.

This was the second live event that I went to and the guys managed to top the last show with a non-stop laugh fest. I took seven friends and everyone left the theater with their stomachs hurting from laughing so frequently. We'll all be at the next show! If I could choose only one word to describe the experience, that word would have to be...Rhapsody!

This is the second Rifftrax Live event I have attended. Mike Nelson, Bill Corbett and Kevin Murphy are brilliantly funny comedians and performers. (The writers are great too!) The show moved along so well, there was no chance of having any popcorn due to the constant jokes making us laugh. The riffs were so dead-on funny. It is a great night out at the movies and the price is reasonable and worth the admission. Look forward to more Rifftrax Live events!

The guys delivered again in this live event. Even better because it was minus an awkward and unnecessary Veronica Belmont and added in Weird Al. Surprised they didn't use Al more, but hopefully the guys now know that people come to see THEM and not any guest stars or riffers.
Good selection of shorts and flowed much better this time. The toy commercials were a nice touch and incredibly offensive and hilarious --just how we MST fans like it. Can't wait for the next one!

It wasn't a waste of money. For the most parts, the riffing was amusing, not hysterical. My main reason for going - to see Al Yankovic - wasn't really addressed. Al only appeared for one segment which was waaaaay longer than it needed to be and he didn't really contribute that much. Best part of the show was the last Christmas short.

I loved MST3k, but I have to say that these guys have gotten even better. This time out they've hunted down the best of the worst holiday shorts, and skewered them.
