Funny movie to pass a cold night weekend. I thought both the characters were hilarious especially Gerald Butler, he was just down to earth and very funny. On the down side the whole movie was predictable and very childish situations but mostly funny.

This was a very cute movie..Jennifer looks amazing as always..and there was great chemistry between her and Gerard. My boyfriend and I saw this at a Cinema Luxe location..so, the bonus was amazing seats..a call button for popcorn..drinks..or whatever we wanted. highly recommend these theatres and the moview is def worth a look :)

I laughed so hard I was almost coughing and choking! Gerard Butler is a very versatile actor, I have seen all the movies he's made in the past year, Gamer, The Ugly Truth, and Law Abiding Citizen he can be a really good guy that is funny and a really scary bad guy I love him! and he cracked me up in this one! Jennifer Aniston is of course very funny in romantic comedy. Seeing this movie made a dreary day brighter will recommend it to my friends.

I thought the movie was exactly what it was. It was funny, it was cute, not better, not worse. It was a situation comedy that entertained for the lighthearted comedy person. I don't say that in a negative way either. There are certain kinds of desserts, meals, drinks that I like and I eat when I want. This is that kind of movie. If you like happy, comedy, movies, then go see it. If those movies seem too bland for you, then don't. It's that simple.

The movie was a typical slapstick comedy. I really cannot remember laughing out loud at any time in the movie. And to think of it, neither did the audience.
Gerald Butler was awesome in 'PS, I LOVE YOU.' So this movie was a come down, especially with a man of his talent. As far as Jennifer Aniston...her talents were accented throughout the movie and I am not talking about her acting.

The movie had it's funny parts, but I was expecting more. For the ladies Gerard Butler does show up in a towel. Jennifer Aniston looks as good as ever!!! It was also a little predictible and my wife expected it to focus a little more on the history; instead it jumps right into 1 year after the divorce. Would I see it again; probably not, but it was worth seeing it during a matinee.

Too long, too few laughs, too little chemistry between Butler & Aniston (on screen at least), too predictable, too much effort in trying to paint Butler's character as a man's man (he's a slob, a chauvinist, he's vindictive, he's reckless). With all of his manly "bad" traits where do we find the magical spark between he and his ex-wife Aniston? We don't! A very weak movie made even worse by stretching out the length and re-playing the same scenes over & over & over & over (you get the picture) again. Butler needs a bigger challenge in roles and Aniston really needs the same.

...but not as good as it could have been. The story has been done before and better (Midnight Run and Mr. and Mrs. Smith), but here we have two actors that could have been better served by a direction that seemed sadly lacking. Since the directors get much of the credit when a movie is good, it also stands to reason they should get the criticism when it is not. Decent actors are only as good as the direction.
I would recommend this movie with the caveat that it is what it is....a flawed romantic comedy with two charming actors (with better off screen chemistry then on) and a decent supporting cast which lacked passionate direction and the necessary heat to make it deserve another star.

Was a decent movie to see and me and my wife enjoyed it up until the law came in and made us leave about an hour into because the power was being shut off. we both agreed to wait until it comes out on DVD to finish watching it instead of sitting thru the first hour again.

I enjoyed this movie, A LOT. Of course it has two of my fave actors in it, Jen Aniston and Gerard Butler which made it a must see for me. There were some pretty funny scenes but overall, unless you're not hung-up on seeing it "bigscreen," wait for the DVD or cable/satellite showing. We had to pay $17.00 for the afternoon matinee and it just wasn't worth that.

We loved the plot and the fun one-liners throughout. The writing was very well done, and the chemistry between the stars was great!!! It was a kick!!!

The chemistry between Jennifer and Gerard is electric! You can sense that they have true feelings for each other by just they way they look into each others eyes; the story line was perfect for them!Bravo!!
