The movie showed a different side of Michael we never seen before from his previous interviews, documentaries, or concerts. He was very passionate about his vocals, the dancers, the stage setup, the dance steps, and the band. Everything had to be perfect and he gave precise orders, but at the same time used "With Love" as his closure to each order. Now i see why his shows are the best in the world. He's the man, and you could never tell that he was a 50 year old man. His voice and moves were flawless.

You get to see MJ do what MJ did best - sing and dance. His voice was spot on, his dance moves typical MJ moves....The movie made me feel like I was sitting in the stadium audience getting to watch him rehurse for the big show in London. I kept thinking to myself "What a Shame he is gone."

Despite the low res footage and the repeatative rehersal shots of MJ, this film was moving and entertaining. I am not the biggest fan of MJ, but this movie was worth watching. The man knew his art - he was the real deal. He gave his very best to make the world a better place, and it is. This is possibly the most honest look at MJ "the artist" ever produced.

It was great in IMAX, and it was a interesting to see MJ at work, and it was even more interesting to see such a large scale production come together, but 2 hours is a long haul for most people if they do not either love MJ or like to see behind the scenes stuff.
I thought it was good, not great - not a lot of wow factor as the move trailer would have suggested, but heck, that is what movie trailers are for ; )
People just seemed kind of blah when it was over, no one was talking about this scene of that scene..So I think they may not get the kind of response they were looking for the next two weeks as far as ticket buyers. There was just not a lot to buzz about....
I know our theater was only 1/2 full.

"THIS IS IT" is SPECTACULAR! It was so wonderful to get a glimpse of Michael at work & in his element. Although it's rehearsal footage, it lets us in his world of artistic ideas & performance, if only for a while. This movie is touching & special & yes, there are some sad & very heartfelt moments, but it is an overall labor of love & I think Michael would be very proud of this endeavor.
I can't wait to see it again. It's a must for all MJ fans worldwide & a must for all performing artists worldwide.

This is the the next best thing to being there! Michael's talent, humanity and persona are so large that you must experience it on the IMAX screen.
