Inspiring movie, good photography, Rob Roll does an excellent narration. The interviews before and after were a little Lance centered.
However, the AMC 14 movie staff allowed the movie to start without audio and did not dim the lights in the theater until a patron contacted the management.

I was skeptical going into to this, worried it would be over dramatized like NBC does to the IM in hawaii. But I was happily impressed, lots of great race footage, what a beautiful location and race. Well done!

A truly great movie. It takes true grit and strength of character to complete this insane race and the profiles in this movie were both exciting and inspiring. I wish they had spent a bit more time on the town of Leadville, however, i think you get a sense from the interviews before and after the movie.

This was an absolutely stunning movie, from the breathtaking cinematography to the heart-wrenching personal stories highlighted throughout. If you are not inspired by this film, you simply need to sell your bike. My only complaint was the sound, which constantly ramped up and down in extremes unlike any other movie I’ve ever experienced. The mix between the music and dialogue was so bad I missed about half of what was said. Others felt the same and it made for an incredibly frustrating experience, as we desperately wanted to hear every word of this otherwise fantastic film. Perhaps the theater was at fault (92037), but if not, I feel compelled to give an ‘A’ to the photographers, and an ‘F’ to anyone who had anything to do with the sound.
