AWESOME! Having done seveal of these types of endurance races, I think this movie gave a glimpse of what it is all about. Other than going out and experiencing it for yourself, this movie was right on with the emotional rollercoaster one feels throughout the event.

I loved the movie. It was very inspirational and motivating. The scenery was breathtaking and it showed how brutal the race is.
Whether you are fan of Lance Armstrong or not, he is a remarkable athlete and has overcome more odds than most of us ever will. I also enjoyed the stories of the other athletes especially the woman who overcame her injuries and the women with MS.

As a cyclist, loved the opportunity to see a cycling-related movie. Many people (both cyclists and non-cyclists) can relate to the human struggle to achieve the seemingly impossible and thus, this movie had broad audience appeal.
I understand the commercial value in making Lance Armstrong the center focus, but I would have more liked to see more about 'mere mortals' and their stories and challenge. Though understated, it did show the difference between the humble, gracious nature of 6 time Leadville champion David Weins and the overhyped, entourage-touting style of Lance Armstrong.

Great movie! A must see for the endurance athlete! It was sort of like watching a mixture of an extreme mountain bike race and Ironman, and instead of watching a classic between Dave Scott and Mark Allen it was Lance Armstrong versus 6-time winner Dave Wiens. Great subplots too with personal stories of the human will, just like the award winning Ironman World Championship telecasts. This movie and this event has legs.

This is a movie that the family or most anybody will enjoy. You don't have to be a cyclist or an elite athelete to appreciate the dedication and heart that these people put into the event. The movie is well done and captures all the apsects involved in the event - from the riders, the organizers, the volunteers, the fans, and the town of Leadville. A must see.

This movie is great for anyone involved in sports. You need not be a mountain biker to appreciate it. I especially reccomend it to all cyclists, endurance runners and triathletes. It is truly inspirational and tells a tale of what the human spirit (and body) is capable of when you "dig deep"

I went into this documentary about the Leadville 100 thinking it was going to be all about Lance Armstrong. All about Lance, Chris Carmichael, and the whole Livestrong foundation and Lance basically steeling the limelight from everyone. I was wrong. This was very well made. It was basically a movie. This is a must for any style bike rider. This film shows all the good and bad of this very hard race and when you get done watching it...I was looking for my bike. Very motivating and inspirational as well. You will be very satisfied with this movie.

The movie was very inspirational, however 5 minutes into the movie, you learn that Lance is a pompous ex-retired perfectionist who couldn't handle losing to Dave Weins in 2008. Lance came out and said that he was "okay" with dropping out of the race last year. Dave didn't get in JUST because he was professional. And like a good guy, he waited his turn. Along strolls Lance, off a tour, gets in and blows through the course. Dave wanted to win 7, but was more than okay just to compete one more time, thanked all the town and support crews. He knows it doesn't happen with out the help and support of everyone else. Dave's humble. Lance expects it, and for that, I think he should put his cleats up and go home for a reality check.

Movie was ok, need more insite about the racers and their preparation before the race. Also the interview could be done with out, or added as a separate thing. Too much focus on Lance and not enough about the race it's self. Over all not as good as the Road to Roubaix or Bud Greenspans Numero Uno, it was good but too much filler.

Great movie. You could tell it was put together quickly but engrossing nonetheless. A little too much "about Lance", but then again, he is the reason the movie exists. Im really glad that the company and the powers that be decided to show this documentary to the public. I wont lie im a lance fan but it was really cool to see how popular the race is and also to see the trials and tribulations of its participants. The scenery was staggering. This movie is a documentary about the Leadville Trail 100 mountain bike race. It is a legendary race known for its difficulty in that it involves 14000 feet of climbing all at an altitude of above 9000 feet. It is also a race that inspired Lance Armstrong to return to biking. The narration is superb along with the music and photography. You feel as if you are enduring what the participants are going through, the cold weather, the hail, the incredible climbs, the thrill of victory and the agony of those that could not finish.
