I know...what can be said about this fantastic movie that hasnt been said already. Great special effects, great acting, great story line...
Normally, I dont like Sci-Fi movies, but this is an exception.
I thought it was very well done and had a connection that many people can associate to. Not the traveling to another planet connection, but the social and human connection.

All I heard was how great special effects were. No one really talked about the story. I thought the story was thought provoking. And yes, special effects were spectacular.

I saw Avatar on Blu-Ray the first time. It was beautiful, but the story didn't have continuity to be a good story. Then I saw the re-release in 3-D. Wow! The extra nine minutes fixed the problems with the story, and the picture was as wonderful as I knew it would be in 3-D.

I saw this movie when it first came out and was blown away by the cinematogrphy. I went out and bought the Blue ray edition and played it for all my friends. They re-released it locally in 3D and our group went, WOW! just fantastic. This one even had extra sceens that were not in the first or DVD. I would definatley suggest it on the big screen at least once, then no smaller than 50 inch,lol.

Saw the movie in its original version as well. Took a friend with me to see again in 3 D. This was a great experience. The effects and colors were breathtaking.
