It was an added bonus that the movie is in 3D, but not required to receive 5 stars. Great movie. They turn an otherwise children story into an entertaining event for all ages. Great storyline, great actors, great movie!

I found Alice in Wonderland better than I thought I would. The special effects were outstanding. Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter were terrific and great to watch. Although I like Anne Hathaway as an actress, I felt she was miscast in her role. The plot kept moving along despite some slow times. Overall, I enjoyed the movie, but did not reflect back on it once it was over.

The 3D effects were superb. There were some moments of slight fuzziness on the screen concerning fast moving objects like insects sometimes but it was a rare occurrence. I loved the effect overall and the characters were beautifully done. I was captivated through the entire movie. Highly recommend the IMAX 3d version over disney 3d.

3D effects were great except for some flying things that couldn't be seen clearly enough to identify them. Plot/script from two of Carroll's books was also very good. Don't understand why Alice's family name was changed but that didn't detract from the entertainment value. Acting was excellent. I wish the credits ran slowly enough to connect all the real characters with those they played in Underland.

Beautiful Spin on a classic... To say that Johnny Depp's character was overshadowed by the other amazing characters would be harsh, but for once, the others we not over shadowed by his.
Great cast, awesome characters we already knew, this is one you will regret not seeing in the theater.

The effects were exceptional, as was the acting. The colors were so vivid and psychedelic. Great length=not too long. Held my attention the whole time. Very well edited and scripted. Retained much of the whimsy and humor that Lewis Carroll originally conveyed. He most likely would have been thrilled with Tim Burton's interpretation of his works...what's not to love?? Excellent movie for the child in all of us!!! Wow! So many subtle details I missed the first time I saw it..definately a second viewing is needed to observe the less obvious in many of the scenes. See this movie at LEAST once!!!!

Before I saw the movie I read a bunch of reviews lamenting that the movie was not dark enough and I was concerned that it was going to be a fluffy bunny movie... far from it. However, I will warn those that are expecting an entirely adult rendition of the Alice story that this is still Walt Disney Productions. That being said, I found the movie very well done. The characters of Underland were delightfully strange and unpredictable and Alice was an engaging heroine. The only thing I wanted was more. Especially the middle of the movie flew by and then it was over and there were characters I would have loved to see much more of...but I think that just means it was a fun and enchanting film

I think Tim Burton is the perfect person to bring Lewis Carrol's wonderland to life! It wasn't quite what I was expecting but I thoroughly enjoyed the film. I was thinking that it was going to be Alice as the little girl but it wasn't. She's all grown up and running from the path chosen for her. It's really "Alice Goes Back to Wonderland" unlike the title suggests. The visuals are wonderful, the acting is fantastic and the story line is in true Tim Burton style. It was a little short and I think he could have gone further with the storyline but I definately do not regret spending the $13.50 to see it on IMAX.

I thought this movie was very age appropriate. My kids range from ages 7-13 and they all loved it. The imax 3D version is so much better than the regular version. Highly recommended for anyone with young children or those who just appreciates beautiful artwork.

I really really enjoyed this movie. It was fun, yet a very different take on Wonderland and Wonderlandians. I do have to say I think this movie would be very scary for chidren under the age of 12. I know it would've scared me! In fact it still kinda did....but in a good way. I was actually kind of surprised this didn't get a PG-13 rating.
But my favorite was Johnny Depp's schizophrenic take on the Mad Hatter. I really loved it! This movie has so much eye candy too. I highly suggest seeing it in 3-D IMAX!

Our 7 year old granddaughter will like it... simple dialogue, no plot surprises, adequate action and basic use of IMAX 3-D. We were reasonably entertained, mostly because we always enjoy Johnny Depp who seems to improve with age. Tim Burton should not expect too many nominations for this one... he has done much better.

The visual & special effects of this movie were all they were hyped up to be & the cast of characters was superb .. however, the story line/plot was seriously lacking. I felt as if none of the characters were developed and the relationships weren't well explained at all. Saw it on IMAX and my girls (5th and 6th grades) and I loved it. Stressed the importance of living your life on your own, not others' terms, which was an empowering message for girls. Animation and storyline were excellent. We enjoyed it.

The movie was great with good graphics however I wish the ending was a little better The Chestire cat began the movie I wanted him to end the movie as well. Or have Alice meet Mad Hatter in real life so they can live together happily ever after. The book is always different than the movie so this was good reproduction.

My family and I just love it! It was delightful and thrilling at the same time. I just love the sense of humor in various parts of the show. It took Alice In Wonderland to a different chapter without taken away from the original movie. My daughter and son, age 7 and 5, could not stop talking about it. I would recomand this as a family show but you must watch it on an IMAX -3D. You will forget you are in a crowded theater. Way to go Disney..
