Amazing Star Power and each gave a special essential part to their characters, beautiful set and costumes, excellent sound track. I am a huge fan of 3D technology but felt somewhat let down after this one, seemed 3D was not taken advantage of to its full capacity. I had VERY high expectations of this movie, and while I enjoyed it, I kinda feel like it is now the day after Christmas. It was great but I didn't get my pony...again

Aside from the obvious bright spots of exceptional performances by Helena Bonham-Carter and Johnny Depp, the amazing score by Danny Elfman, and the much loved tale of Alice's adventures, I was actually quite disappointed. Mia Wasikowska's performance was like Alice on valium...very milk-toast. Anne Hathaway's White Queen seemed stale. Crispin Glover was not his usual "crazy" best. The visuals were "eh" for Imax.

I enjoyed this movie. Alll the characters were good, with Elena Bonham Carter, being the most outstandling. Johnny was good too. The deck of cards were awesome. The 3D IMAX sound according to my spouse was excellent.

Avoid "Alice in Wonderland" as if your life depends on it. It's offensively, insultingly, mind-numbingly God awful, written during part of a weekend by high school students on some hideous drug that makes you think whatever you write is inspired and good enough just get it done so you can turn it in on Monday. There is northing to like. Every idea is moronic, I've come to hate Tim Burton's work and his "celebrated artistic whimsy" and I'm sick to death of Johnny Depp playing wooden, quirky characters with unblinking eyes and goofy voices. What a waste of a once brilliant talent. I haven't hated a movie this much in years.

I doubt this would look or feel the same seeing it in any other format than IMAX 3D. However, even so, this movie was fantastic. Full of laughs, and stunning visual effects. Truly has to be the best collaboration between Tim and Johnny since Edward Scissorhands. Tim treated this movie as it should have been, and it turned out fantastic. Sound, lighting, CG, soundtrack were fantastic. Truly enjoyable. Never have I been to a movie lately were the audience disappeared and I became enraptured by the movie. Don't listen to the negative reviews, this was fantastic.

This movie has everything you would expect from a Tim Burton film following a baseline story we are all familiar with (with of course his own little twist to the story!) Another role for Johnny Depp that nobody could have done better, the voices of the animated characters really seemed to match with there personalities! the rating was pretty accurate, I would let my 6 year old daughter watch this film, there are a few slightly questionable (slightly scary) scenes but really nothing bad. I would recommend this film to anyone who enjoys Tim Burton, Johnny Depp, or just very creative mind boggling stories and images!

The visuals were dizzying, one of our party was actually nauseated. However, if you have the stomach for it, it is worth seeing the spectacle in the theatre. The cheshire cat and red witch were wonderful. The white witch and dormouse were downright stupid. The storyline was disjointed, which I expected, but also boring and typical hollywood, which was a huge let down, unexpected for Tim Burton. It undermined and mocked the spirit of the original story. Worse, the ending was trite, insulting to the audience, and insulting to all women as it undermines the true history of women of the time period. The ending made me leave nauseated. Prepare to enjoy the pretty pictures, and not much else.

One of the best movie experiences I have had. Seen in Imax 3D theatre. Story seemed to lack for adults, but effects and over all movie was great. Both of my kids (12 & 10) said Alice always looked tired and they thought that someone else would have been a better actress.

Alice in Wonderland in IMAX 3D is absolutely amazing. The colors. The characters, The storyline. Everything is amazingly well done. We drove over an hour to see this movie in IMAX 3D and after watching the movie we have decided that was a small price to pay to see this movie. If you havent seen the movie, Go. Met and exceeded all my expectations! Johhny Depp was perfect for the Mad Hatter character. He always fits into the character role he portrays - even moreso in AIW. The dance at the end will be a hit around the world. My favorite character is the cheshire cat followed closely by the March Hare (hilarious). Mia Wasiksolka is superb as Alice, finally maturing with the jaberwocky battle and ready to face life with a new adventure. Helena Carter portrays the Red Queen as a spoiled, bulbous headed, power hungry, controlling, jealous sister. Great performance. You must see this movie in 3D and IMAX, if available!

this movie was really visually beautiful, as well as artistically creative with the story of Alice 13 years later. The only thing of which i wasn't the biggest fan, was that the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) seemed to have a larger role than what it would have been if Depp hadn't been cast in that role. All in all, a phenomenal movie; two thumbs up!

Loved the performances by Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as the evil Queen of Hearts & the grown up Alice. Fantastic graphics & special effects, beautiful Avril Lavigne song, and cool 3D IMAX experience.
