I loved the movie because it was Alice and Wonderland, the best disney movie ever made. Tim Burton made it his own of course, so it's not all child appropriate unless you don't mind introducing death to your children, but it was very entertaining especially in IMAX 3D. I think Johnny Depp was the best thing in the movie, surprise surprise. Overall, great movie. If you can't handle weird trippy things, don't watch it.

Great Eye Candy, Story line weak, Alice's quick wit is missing. Characters are over the Top as expected. Could have been Darker, Edge of Seat missing. I wanted more unexpected as movie was Part 2 and not a remake. Over all I-MAX 3D, Characters and Johnny Depp were the show.

This movie was freakin awesome! I've never seen a movie in IMAX 3D before, so I can't compare the FX to others, but I enjoyed every minute of the storyline and felt like I was really there in the movie. It's hard for me to get into movies and lose track of time - this one sucked me right in!
Not so sure I would recommend it for young children, but anyone old enough to appreciate a hidden sense of humor and things flying out of the screen could really enjoy this one.

This piece was absolutely everything I expected it to be, and just a little bit more. The actors picked up mannerisms to match the characters from the book very well, and the animation took it to the next level. The hatter's dance at the end was absolutely amazing; if just for that I would watch it. But it has so much more to offer. An accurate and stuffy look into Victorian society becomes a fantastic and impossible world becomes a heartwarming story about living for oneself.

The movie wasn't the greatest of all time, but the special FX are amazing and definitely worth seeing. Really fun and totally entertaining. It is a bit scary in parts especially for little kids. Typical for Disney though. Go see it in IMAX 3D it's definitely worth the $15 ticket price, It was like being on a Disney ride. Johnny Depp and Anne Hathaway were perfect in their roles.

While a visual feast, the story felt disjointed and I never connected to the characters. 3D didn't further the plotline and was just another gimmicky device. The actors were wasted, with the Mad Hatter leering at Alice throughout and the White Queen flitting and arm waving like Edgar Winter in a wedding gown on LSD. This film did not live up to my expectations of what a Disney-branded film should be. Big money, no heart.

The film was good film...costumes, make-up, set design. All the actors were good, but the Queen of Hearts...Helena Bonham Carter, was fantastic. The IMAX 3D was not impressive...so don't waste your time trying to get into one of those theaters. I regular old screening will do. A la Burton, the movie is dark but there are many comical moments as well. There's also a battle scene...which could have been left out.

The 3D effects were great and it was a great twist on an old tale! Johnny Depp was great in it, i recognized some characters from Harry Potter, I don't even know where they came up with the jabber wockey but i loved it! I would definitely see it again!

If you loved Avatar you will get into Alice in Wonderland. The 3D effects are not as bold as Avatar but right up there. The characters will have you mesmerized. No one can play crazy like Johnny Depp! Went under the guise for my kids, but I enjoyed it just as much if not more. If you like fantasy/sci-fi this movie fits ages 6-70. After seeing Avatar in the 3-D format and viewing the previews for Alice, we were looking forward to seeing Alice in 3-D IMAX when it opened. What a fantastic time - I smiled and laughed and rode this movie through its entireity. The scenes, colors, characters and actors were wonderful. Johnny Depp was oustanding! The story moved at a quick pace and the creatures were unique and inventive.

Overall, it was a great movie. The special effects in IMAX 3D were unbelievable. The Red Queen was the most entertaining character with her "OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!" Definitely worth seeing on the big screen!

My first 3D movie and it was amazing! The cast was great, so I knew it was going to be really good, but I had no idea it was going to be that realistic in 3D. There were times I jumped and flinched because I thought something was going to hit me. The plot of the movie was excellent, and I loved the way it ended. I was very surprised with how well everything was put together. A bit darker than I expected, but that's Tim Burton and he made it work.

I was really looking forward to this movie based on the character design and promo shots, but was very disappointed.
I found the overall movie to be emotionally flat, there was little character development during the movie and aside from the Red Queen, none of the characters was particularly interesting. The fact that the story line was so simple and linear did not help.
Despite the wonderful character design, the cinematography was flat, almost desaturated.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
