Movie was interesting but thought the special effects could have been more. The characters were interesting but often difficult to understand as they talked so quickly. Plus I think the character development could have been better. Often the 3 D effects at the time of the engagement party in the beginning was dark. Would have been better if they had lightened the screen. I think the 3D was OK but the IMAX didn't seem to add much more than other 3D pictures I have seen. Johnny Depp was good but hard to understand his character. Makeup was wonderful. Still fun to see.

I loved Alice in Wonderland. Wonderland just popped out of the screen, very colorful and beautiful. It had a good storyline that made sense. I was afriad it might get a little too weird but it did not. I normally do not like Tim Burton movies (mostly strange at times) but this one was just beautiful. Johnny Depp was fantastic as the mad hatter. Helena Bonham Carter was just an evil red queen. All in all very good

I'm so happy I got to see this movie in 3D! The sounds were amazing, and Wonderland was beautiful. Every character was strange and hilarious in their own way. The voices that accompanied the CGI characters were really well chosen and placed. I liked the plot, but at the climax, aka the final battle, the victors won too quickly. I don't think there was a good build up. All in all it was a fun movie to see, but don't expect to walk out enlightened by any acquirable knowledge or confused by q suspenseful aspect of the movie. Basically it is predictably(duh it Alice in Wonderland)

This movie was an outstanding film to see with family. For the parents it is a great flashback into our own childhood. It helps to make those personal connections with our childen and have something in common to talk about. The over all message of courage and believing in yourself is exceptional. I loved it from an educational point of view as well as a mother of 4 young boys. You wont be disappointed.

I expected a lot more. They could've taken it so much farther and made it crazy and trippy, but they didn't. The plot wasn't very original. Helena Bonham Carter was hilarious and great - Johnny Depp was too. He made his Hatter character really sympathetic and charming and not too "Johnny Deppish", which is a good thing. It was definately more of a "Disney film" as opposed to a truly dark Tim Burton film, but I really liked it anyways.

the visuals were great, as expected, but I wasn't thrilled with the choice of actress or her wardrobe throughout the movie. She lacked personality big time. Helena Bonham Carter as the red queen was FANTASTIC, as was Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, but Depp playing a crazy character is getting a little cliche, he seems to be typecast now. Overall, they absolutely should have gotten someone else to play Alice, the actress was NOT good.

This movie ranks number 2 in my all time favorites. (Behind Nightmare Before Christmas). I am a huge Tim Burton fan as well as a Johnny Depp fan so my expectations were high. I had high expectations due to Tim Buron's brilliant, fantasiful, and dream-like approach to many of his flms. It was double jeoparody because Alice Through The Looking Glass was one of my favorite books as a child, and the cartoon movie is my favorite Disney animation feature ever. Results? On a scale of 1 to 10.....it was and 11. It was far better than I expected. It references both the cartoon and book quite a bit. The ending was left wide open for a sequel too. I loved every minute, and the 3-D effects have greatly improved; not up to NASA's standards yet. Depp was superb, but Carter stole the show. Go see it and don''t be late!

They did a very good job explaining the characters in this movie, something the original was terribly lacking. You felt like you knew why she was there and that the story had a purpose. The movie was also not as dark as I thought it would be given that it was a Tim Burton film. The 3-D effects added to the movie unlike most where it just is there to be 3-D. Tim Burton did it again. Johnny Depp was magnificent. The whole movie was a wonderful trip into Underland. The makeup, custumes and effects were really done nice. The 3D was just that, 3D. This 3D didn't make me nausious like some 3D movies do. I would highly recommend seeing this movie in Imax 3D. All movies should be done this way. Flat screen is dead. Long live Imax 3D!

The movie does a fairly poor job of telling the story, moving rapidly with abrupt introductions to characters and trying too hard to have silly catch phrases. The thing I was most disappointed with was the 3D production quality. At many times the imagery was flat and stale. Overall, it is worth seeing, because much of the imagery is unique, and the Cheshire Cat really does seem to float around the characters, which is really cool to see. For people new to the story, or for people who aren't as critical as I am, you'll probably like it.

Loved it, the whole thing is very dense. One flaw that was annoying. At the they used modern music for Depp's dance and it kinda killed the magic. Otherwise, fantastic graphics and great music. Story-line A- but who cares. People who want philosophy should go to a philosophy class, LoL.

I wish they edited the movie tighter.
If you're expecting to have an experience like Avitar, you will be very disappointed.
The movie was "dark" for a Disney picture. I actually fell asleep once and got back into the movie halfway through.
The acting was great, all the characters were great!
I felt like it was just missing something.. can't put my finger on it.

This movie was visually appealing and the 3D was done superbly well. However, the plot line was slow and there was not much action throughout the movie. Alice was such a sad version of the character from the book. I would not go see this movie again and I would definitely not recommend this movie to any of my friends.
