I think that this movie was magnificent. I feel it had a very strong message of you make your own decisions, but not only did it just do that, it showed it in a creative way. It keeps you guessing for the whole movie. As a conclusion if you're mean and stubborn you will end up like the red queen and if you're sweet and nice you will end up like the white queen.

this movie was basically everything i thought it was going to be, I've been waiting for a new Alice in Wonderland for a long time, I've read anything alice i can get ahold of and anything i can watch, before this one id have to say one of my favorites was Through the Looking Glass with kate beckinsale, but this one takes the tea pot!! nothing bad about this movie other than the underworld thing which i didn't like really, too much towards lion witch and the wardrobe but other than that loved it go see it pay the money and ur respects

This movie was amazing. We saw it in 3D IMAX it was definitely worth the money. I would kind of like to see it again not in 3D because I think you really loose the great details in the graphics with the 3D. A must see for young and old.

i really thought it was worth the money to go watch this and the the little bit extra it cost to see the imax was worth it. i felt at some moments i might be able to actually reach out and touch the screen. tim burton did a great job recreating a classic and not straying too far from the original storyline.

I expected this movie to be really awesome, and it was. The Imax 3d was fantastic, and for almost two hours my wife and I forgot we were watching a movie, and became enveloped in underland. The acting was great, the visuals were great, and it was a fast paced, exciting film that kept our interest throughout. I would highly recommend anyone who is a fan of good movies to go see this in theaters while you can.

I really loved the movie but I did expect it to be a little 'darker' so I was a little disappointed. All of the characters were amazing, especially Johnny of course. This was awesome on several levels. +The animation-CGI special effects are pushing the boundaries of what is possible. Look closely to detail in the rendering of the eyes of Hatter and of the the Frogs. However the iMax 3D effect was not anywhere as thrilling or included as I experienced Avatar. I wanted to see more use of 3D in Alice. Cheshire would have been so stunning if we’d seen him wisp in-out as we did with the jungle/creatures in Avatar imho +The story overwhelmed me how it intricately wove so many works of L Carol into a unique story to itself. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie experience. It’s certainly a work that I want to have in my home collection... Truly a WonderLand Experience Regards from the coast of Maine USA

I was stunned by the graphics and the 3D was fantastic - I'm hooked on 3d now! You forget the technology and enjoy the movie. I was incredibly surprised that the movie is not the story from the book. I really thought that it was going to be a movie adaptation of the book "Alice in wonderland" and when it was not I was both surprised and ultimately happy about that as the story of the movie was better than the book. The movie has enough elements of the book to make the purest happy while at the same time telling a different and exciting story that is more coherent than the book.

I thought it was awesome that they combined Alice and Wonderland with Through the Looking Glass. I loved both of these books since I was younger, and I always thought that Through the Looking Glass had a scarier side to it. So I'm glad they put the Jabberwocky in the movie! This was a great surprise. Also, I truly loved the Cheshire Cat's character as well as those piercingly wicked eyes of Johnny Depp's Mad Hatter! Two Thumbs Up!

I always enjoy Tim Burton movies and this was no different in providing an entertaining and imaginative version of a cult classic. Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter are wonderful as always and the other cast mates fit in well. It was entertaining from beginning to end. As usual, Tim did a great job modernizing a classic. Finally Alice got to fight as she did in the books. We went with our 9, 13 and 17 year old kids and they ALL liked it -not an easy feat !

the movie was absolutely beautiful. Inventive scenery, stunning costumes and minimal dialogue.
AMC on 42nd street NY sold a block of tickets ahead of time to a company. When we went in with our prepaid tickets, more than half of the theater was reserved, leaving us with seats right in front of the screen, off to the side. The young man said they paid extra for priority seating. Well, i was never given an option to purchase a priority seat. I paid full price for a ticket and arrived early to get a good seat...just as the website instructed me to do. That is not a way to treat customers who pay full price. Discount the people who are being inconvenienced inside of lining your pockets. I WILLNOT GO TO AMC on 42nd street again.

This movie is fun, creative and visually beautiful! You can take the kids to see it - it's not too scary! Johnny Depp is amazing (as always)! You will have fun remembering this great story and seeing Tim Burton's interesting twist on it.

Phenomenal graphics, animation. Good acting by all. Great costumes and makeup.
Filthy 3d glasses. Greasy and lenses were covered in fingerprints. Had to run both pairs under hot water and then wash with soap
Seems to me, for the price I am paying I could at least get clean 3d glasses.

My husband & I are really enjoying the IMAX experience in 3D, expecially since he retired. I love J Depp's movies and generally admire the characters he brings to life on the big screen. The Mad Hatter was not a let down at all, one of his best. I love what Tim Burton did with Alice in Wonderland, his character adaptations are brilliant, colorful, and so much entertainment. Would have loved another Avatar experience, but knew that a hour and 50 mins. wouldn't come close. But worth the $9 ticket for another great IMAX experience in 3D.
