As usual, Johnny Depp was awesome! I thought the movie was excellent, especially in IMAX 3D! The animation was really good, even at the end with the credits rolling, the audience sat and watched as the flowers grew and bloomed around the edges of the screen...4.5 stars!

Excellent movie; artwork, casting, costumes...the whole package was there. The 3D images, though, were blurry at times. I was told this is because the movie was not filmed with 3D cameras, rather, it was made 3D after shooting. Not sure what it is, but definitely not as clear and crisp as some other 3D flicks I've seen...but a great experience nonetheless and definitely worth checking out.

I love Tim Burton, Johnny Depp, and Danny Elfman collaborations. I expected something really dazzling but was disappointed. After the ads started I began looking forward to seeing this. Maybe I don't know the original tale well enough, but I wanted more from the environment. The music was good, the animations were good and Mia looked hot in that armor. If you love the story maybe you'll love this but I could have done without.

First off, let me state, i've seen this movie in both 3D and Imax 3D, I gave the 3D version 5 stars. I can't find anything wrong with this movie. The characters all fit and serve a purpose. it's not too long or short, the moral of the story is unexpected, but really good, especially for girls out there. it doesn't take away from the original, in fact it follows pretty closely as good sequel.

Drove 75 miles to see this in IMAX 3D. It was well worth the drive. Would have liked for Johnny Depp's role to have been larger. The 3D was great. The color and scenery was great. Highly recommend that this be viewed in IMAX or 3D at the least.

Fans of the Narnia series and Golden Compass would enjoy this greatly. The animated scenery and 3D effects were engrossing, more artistically done than even Avatar. The story line and characterizations were gentler than usual for Tim Burton, more sweet than dark, and paid homage to the original Alice. The red queen was a thoroughly enjoyable villainess.

So watching this in 3D IMAX is of course the only way to go. The effects are really well done. As for the content, Tim Burton does a very nice job once again diverging slightly from the know story lines. Everyone has names instead of titles. Though Ann Hathway's performance is a little over the top. All in all a great movie.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It does take liberties from the original story but the unique plot was refreshing. I expected the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) to have more of a major role in the movie since most advertisements portray him as the lead. However, similar to the original story, Alice (Mia Wasikowska) is the main protagonist in the story as she ventures through Underland. The visuals were stunning as expected. The character development was poor, as many viewers who have never seen the Disney cartoon or read the book, will not understand the the true essence of the characters. Overall, this movie was delightful, warmhearted, and worth seeing.

Well, there isn't much to say. The movie is solid on so many levels - acting, fx, cohesion, etc... As crazy or mad (pun) as it may sound, I found Depp to be the weakest acting element. This movie has Tim Burton written all over it. The visual effects were incredible and made me think that Wonderland was someplace real. Helena Bonham Carter was wonderful as the Red Queen and Johnny Depp's Mad Hatter was a delight. The story kept to the original Alice in Wonderland, even managing to add in the poem "Twas brillig and the slithy toves did gire and gimble in the wabes." Brilliantly done.

Tim Burton and Johnny Depp have done it again! "Alice in Wonderland," as seen in IMAX 3-D, was spectacular. All of the performances were great, makeup, scenery, costumes, acting, creature special effects -- all WONDER(land)FULLY done. Depp, as usual, gives the audience a believable character and added charisma and charm. There are so many wonderful things going on in this movie that I'll have to see it again just to concentrate on all the subtleties going on in the background that I may have missed. Kudos to Burton and Depp--see you at the Oscars in 2011.

Fantastic movie, especially in Imax/3D. Wish I was 6 again and could have seen Alice in Wonderland this way. Tim Burton does it again! Loved Chessy.

I enjoyed the movie quite a bit as did my 5 year old son. Very colorful movie. I thought there might be a little more 3-d scenes, but I would watch it again.

I so wanted to stay in Alice's world! Tim Burton is more Tim Burton-y than ever! Quirky but colorful & loveable to the max! Effects & actors seamlessly intertwine in a visual wonderland of chess pieces & playing cards that noone else but Tim could dream up. His sequel to the original classic is more than I dared to imagine. It isn't a deep entwined plot, but it's an eye-full of a fairy tale that allows forgiveness of that loss of "muchness." Johnny Depp (Mad Hatter) disappointingly reappears as Jack, Charlie & Edward. None of the other actors stand out much either. It doesn't matter. It was as fantastic of a world as Avatar & deserves to be a classic in your future DVD collection. Just be sure to see it in 3D IMAX a couple times first!

I really enjoyed Alice in Wonderland. The Imax experience was great. The graphics were very well done. You felt like you were in the movie. The actors did great. Johnny Depp was great as always.
