Huge Tim Burton fan, huge Johnny Depp fan. Really a fan of the majority of the people in the movie.
Visuals were stunning and well done.
Everything else was dreadfully boring. Couldn't understand Johnny Depp over half the time, which was frustrating and what was with that horrible accent when he was angry. Tim managed to mangle the story line. Only redemption for me was Danny Efman's score, which wasn't up to his usual standard as well.

I liked all the characters! All the characters did a Great Job. My only complaint is that sometimes Johnny Depp talks to fast and I have found this with some of his other characters in past movies. So sometimes it is difficult to understand him. Overall I enjoyed the movie.

Alice in Wonderland was never my favorite story growing up and I'm not a big Johnny Depp fan so I wasn't overly thrilled about seeing this movie. My family talked me into it and I am so glad they did. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! I highly recommend you see this!

It might be titled "Alice in Wonderland" but rest assured, it is not. It's more like the 13th sequel to "Alice in Wonderland". It may be beautiful to look at and the IMAX 3D experience is amazing, but that does not make the picture any better than it is and it's rubbish! It has almost nothing to do with the classic "Alice in Wonderland"! It's called "Alice in Wonderland" and therefore it should be "Alice in Wonderland" not a completely new story from the mind of Tim Burton. A better title would be "Alice: Warrior Princess" or "Wonderland or Underland?" The entire movie they keep asking if they have the right Alice. I was wondering just how many girls named Alice fall down rabbit holes? The more I think about it, the more I hate this movie.

Nothing disappoints me more then when I pay 15 dollars per ticket (60 total since there were four of us), wait in insane lines (mostly due to peoples stupidity and the 'challenge' of using automated ticket dispensers) then watch a move that is completely predictable and lacking in any real substance. While visually this movie is stunning (the Cheshire cat being the best character) save your money because if you've seen the previews/trailers you've already seen the movie.

It was a good movie. It wasn't the best movie I've ever seen, but worth going to in IMAX 3D. I doubt I would rent it on DVD or see it again. The red queen was outstanding. I went to this movie with high expectations and this movie fell far too short. While the scenery was beautiful, the 3D effects were unnecessary to the story line and a waste of ticket money. Johnny Depp revisits his role as Willy Wonka with a top hat. There was nothing new to see here. The story line was a complete dissapointment, attempting to teach the lesson that life is the path you make...yet Alice was bound to complete her pre-written destiny. Neither teaching independent thought, or destiny. You walk away from the film feeling lighter in the wallet and deeper dismayed that one has no control over their own destiny and must follow the path that has been preordained. What a waste!!

This is a great movie as long as you know going into it knowing that it is NOT the book or any of the other productions thereof. The CGI is amazing. Spend the extra $3 or 4 and see it 3D @ IMAX. On the downside, there are some trite elements that are probably unavoidable in a Hollywood production of this magnitude; the big battle scene and a cheezy dance bit for the kiddies. Best acting performance: the Red Queen. (Sorry Johnny)

This film was very enjoyable and it looked good in 3D but for the price of going to see it in 3D instead of 2D didn't seem worth it. I think it's great that they are making more movies into 3D but they really should start bringing the price down because some movies are worth the extra price - this one you could still see in the regular theater and not be disappointed. The story was good, Johnny Depp steals the scene as always, but it is a typical Tim Burton film. Some of his films are awesome and inspiring, others are just ok, this happened to be one of the ok films, but if I go to see it again it will be in the regular theater.

It was really great. I think I had high expectations for the 3D part, it didn't deliver so much there - Like when Alice is in the grass, it wasn't like grass blades were in front of you - but there were other special effects and extraordinary poetic moments that made up for most of that. Go see it!

Art direction, makeup and costumes are oscar-worthy. Good acting on the part of the Hatter, Alice, both queens--and good voice acting/animation of the many creatures you meet. The weak point of this movie is the story, which has trouble living up to the original. However, totally worth seeing.

The movie in 3D Imax was amazing. The movie itself was very quick paced and too much going on all the time leaving you a bit confused and uninterested. I thought the movie was hard to follow. However, if you are a Johnny Depp fan, you will love his acting and the character he plays. Overall the movie was good but I don't plan on seeing it again.

I'm spoiled after AVATAR - it's a hard act to follow but the images didn't grab you, they were blurry in places and they didn't come off of the screen into your lap (and I was in the 2nd row IMAX). I was underwhelmed, LOVE LOVE LOVE Johnny Depp, and excellent supporting cast, but the movie itself.... was just OK.

I loved the 3D effects and the feeling of being in the story the entire time. It was shorter than I expected and was predictable at times with not enough conflict. Johnny Depp's, Alice's and other's acting was pretty good though some was not great but I was also confused because some of the characters were supposed to be awkward. Overall I would see the movie again or recommend it to friends but maybe not in IMAX.

Such magic for the eyes! When I put on the glasses, I recalled how much I loved my Viewmaster when I was a child. I thought the visual beauty was superior to Avatar. I liked the very small flying things , that when they were zoomed into, would reveal a miniature rocking horse!
