My wife and I just went to BDS2 after watching number one no less than 100 times. I must admit that I was a bit apprehensive about going, for fear of tarnishing the first movie. My fears were correct after this sequel, but my wife said she LOVED it. I will not say I was totally appalled, but it was not a repeat of the first epic edition. First and foremost flaw was no actual David Della Rocco, just predictable flashbacks. He added so much character to the duo and his Mexican "replacement" was out of place and awkward. Also on the poor replacement list was Julie Benz's character, SA Bloom, who's acting, was at best nauseating.Why no Dafoe? While it was still an enjoyable flick, BDS2 just didn't have the same feel and flow as the first.

Having somehow missed the original for nearly ten years and not seeing it till it came out on blu-ray I was worried that the 10 year gap might be a problem for making a good sequel. I was pleasantly surprised to find out I was wrong as this one flowed smoothly out of the original. I will say that it does seem to start off a little slow, but once the action kicks in, it's non-stop till the end. The movie can work as a stand alone, but having seen the original within the last month I would rent it or buy it before seeing the sequel, since several scenes will make no sense if you haven't seen it. The movie has a great ending as well, and sets up the next film in the trilogy if they decide to make it.

I thought The Shooter was bad but this was worse. senseless killing, very impossible, stupid, was a good waste of money, Glad I never saw the first one and sorry I saw this one.

absolutely near perfect- not to many sequels can say that- its no Empire, but still freakin good- i was pleased to see Troy Duffy use the same formula he used with the first- not trying to top himself he able to make sense of elements from the original- and thats all i wanted to see really- i just wanted to see Troy be Troy- and thats what i got- and one thing- im tired of hearing how hes trying to be like Quinton- wrong- Quinton's movies are BASED on great dialog- if anything Troy's influence's more resemble Guy Richie- Troys movies are just pure entertainment for all my senses- its a great sequel so check it out- its defiantly worth the ticket-

The movie was good. and I have been waiting for this to come out a LONG time. but it wasn't what i was expecting. They just took many good scenes from the first film and put it into this one. But no one wants to watch the same thing twice. I was really disappointed after leaving the theater. Seemed like they put a lot of random scenes in there for no reason and the acting of Sean Patrick Flanery seemed not the same .. not saying he wasn't good but honestly i thought i was being fooled for the first hour of the movie thinking that they replaced him... If they are running out of ideas for the next film at least ask the fans because i would hate for the next film to turn out like this one.. .WAIT FOR THE DVD!!!!

Best Sequal in a long time! Followed up with history to fill in the gaps. And I loved all the characters. Bob Marley was hillarious! Very enjoyable movie.

This sequel was great. It filled in the gaps and it showed how it all began with Noah. Left it open for another one and I'm hoping to see the boys again in a third Saints to finish up the story and tie everything together. Hilarious and full of action.

Because most sequels are not as good as the first I was ready for this one to be a bust. Boy was I wrong. While the first was new and different this answered some questions. The action and comedy was great. This will not win any Oscars but than it was not made for that but it will make you think.
