The most unoriginal, disappointing Burton film ever. I love Burton's films yet this one lacked any story line what so ever. I came in with high expectations and left with NOTHING. I couldn't understand what Johnny Depp was saying at all since he was talking like Captain Jack Sparrow the whole time. This film seemed rushed and lacked any real connection to the original. This is a hard movie to live up to and even tho i give Tim credit for trying, he could have done better. He gave up on this one and it was apparent 30 seconds in.

Where do I start? My boyfriend and I took his mom, brother and my son to see Alice in 3D, their first 3D movie, and they were all ooohs and aaaahs!! It was an awesome movie! I was so pleased with the way it turned out being a remake of a Disney classic, that I'm pretty sure I like it better than the old one!! And Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter was just wonderful! I actually caught myself in time to stop myself from clapping after he had finished dancing at the end because it was such an awesome performance!!! This is one of the best movies for all ages that Ive seen in a while! YOU ROCK TIM BURTON AND DISNEY for making ALICE AND WONDERLAND SOOOOO AWESOME!!!

Great 3D effects, but movie plot was poor at best. Parts of the movie had some humor, but mostly boring and pointless. Not impressed for a Tim Burton movie. Johnny Depp did a good character for the Mad Hatter. Don't waste your money, wait for the DVD release.

Good movie, very good in 3-D, but it was hyped too much. Very good graphics/animation. Costumes not bad. Would recommend if you are going to see it, to see it in the movie theater. At home it would not do the movie justice.

If you're expecting a faithful rendition of Lewis Carroll's classic, you will be disappointed. This is a hodgepodge of Carroll's various writings, chopped up and reassembled by Tim Burton. The imagery has the dark, Film Noir qualities of such recent films as Batman and the blatant good guy/bad guy morality of Avatar. Granted the visual effects are well-done, but in this age of computer animation that's nothing new. There is a bit of humor, but I think the film is a bit too somber and wordy for most children. A decent film, but I think the old cartoon version by Disney was a lot more faithful to the original, more lighthearted, and is more appropriate for children.

This was an awesome movie. While it was based on the book by Lewis Carroll, the movie only had the a few lines and scenes straight from the book. The storyline was very Burtonesque and it made it a fun and surprising movie to watch! It was the whimsical story of Alice...but also had the darker and more random touches that are always in Tim Burton films. Johnny Depp was incredible, and the rest of the cast did an amazing job!

A great adaptation of a wonderful book and a favorite animation. This movie had twists and turns and an "aha" moment at the end that made it that much more enjoyable. Tim Burton and Johnny Depp really knew how to put this together to keep it fresh and fun. It was just a tad "dark" but not too dark for children, except the most "scared" type kids, and it was still adult-fun material.

The 3D and animation don't even come close to Avatar!!! I almost fell asleep during the first 40 minutes!! It does get better midpoint, but the dance by Deps character at the End was stupid and just ruined and already just "OK" movie. Disney has to do better than Avatar..or at least come close.

Was not very impressed with the movie. The costumes were great and the effects were OK. Not as good as some other 3-D movies I have seen. It left me wishing they had expanded on some of the scenes. It seems as if they had to cut the movies to fit into 1 1/2 hours! My teenage daughter loved it though!

This was wonderful. I was very pleasantly surprised. I felt that it was well done and very well cast. I suppose the only downfall was Anne Hathaway as the White Queen. For some reason, I felt she didn't fit what I would envision. The story line was very sweet and the special effects were lovely. A definate, must see.

From the director who destroyed the remaking of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory by single handily casting the same person as every Oompa Loompa; who constantly tricks parents and children into attending his movies, with hope that they will witness a delicate reunion to their kind childhood memories, and then shocks them with borderline horror film effects... Tim Burton, is at it again - making both children and adults cry in theaters (for completely different reasons). I felt the film was entertaining - but thats probably because Im a 27 year old male who owns a copy of El Topo. Don't bring your kids to see the film, unless you've raised them on Chucky films, moldy bread, reruns of Married w/ Children.

It was a good movie with a creative story line. The 3D effects were really good on some parts, but really could've been better on others.
