Really enjoyed this film. This is my first experience watching Alice and Wonderland. Already plan to rent the original. I think older children will love this verision. Tim Burton's interpertation was fresh and kept me wanting more.
I would recommend this movie to adults and older children.

Alice in Wonderland is good enough to see by the whole family. The movie have a real slow plot, the problem is that it's some of the viewer might not understand the story of Alice when she first time went to Wonderland. The acting is not bad Johnny Deep is always great and also Mia I think have a great future a head of her. Anne Hathaway character should had done more or they could done something more to make her more involve in the plot. Helena Bonham Carter is a great Red Queen she own the part and she made it work. Alice in Wonderland over all is good, but I will not put a big expectation in the plot of the movie when you see it. My only advice is just enjoy the show.

Of course we had some of the best actors plying their trade in this film. If the movie didn't have those individuals it could actually stand on its own. No belittling meant from the cast. This was a fabulous movie. The 3-D effects are awesome. The world that is imagined and brought to fruition by Tim Burton is so believable and fantastic. I say "bravo" and again "thank you" for the awesome performance and my time in his "Wonderland"!

This is a great movie took my daughter 9yrs old she loved it. Johnny Depp was great again loved the cast, it was funny and did not lose my attention all through the whole movie. At times i thought it would be a little scary for my 9 year old daughter but she seemed to be ok with the scary parts,cant wait to see if disney will revise the ride as well, I would definitely add this movie to my collection when it come out on DVD.

I REALLY loved this movie!!! I've seen the 1951 cartoon version at LEAST 24 times, so the sequencing of this version was hard to get used to. Everything that happened in that version happened so quickly in this one that I was kinda surprised, but I LOVED it. It's totally different. The 3D was excellent. It wasn't cheap jump-out things, it was realistic and interesting. Everyone's acting was incredible. The reality scenes (when Alice is not down the whole) are HILARIOUS. GO SEE THIS TONIGHT!! RIGHT NOW!!!
ATTENTION GLASSES WEARERS!!! Wearing the 3D glasses over regular glass is REALLY uncomfortable, so if you have contacts, wear them.

I was a little worried about my 7 yr old seeing this. Sometimes Tim Burton is a little out their for children. But I am so glad I didn't let her miss out on it. It is a must see in 3D on a large screen. I definitely reccommend it to parents.

I thought this was a beautiful movie. Tim Burton's designs just get better and better. The cast was superb. My only issue was the movie felt too short. I felt like they started to get into some interesting character and general story development but cut it off to wrap up the movie in under two hours. I would like to have seen a little more.

A great family movie, and though not filmed in 3D, it worked well with all the wonderful special effects. This movie will no doubt become a classic. Awesome movie! Make sure you see it in 3D. Definately one of Johnny Depp's best performances. I hope he teams up with Tim Burton once again in the future. One thing I would say is that this is defintely the adult version of the story. Very small children would be quite frightened by some of the scenes. I was so excited to see this movie and I was not disappointed. It is visually stunning. We did see the 3D version and I would highly recommend that, it is worth the extra money. All of the actors were excellent in their roles and Johnny Depp was awesome. I am 52 and I took 3 girls, ages 13, 14 and 17. Some "professional" reviewers said that there was no story line, then they weren't watching or just wanted to hate the movie. I wll definitely go see it again while it is in the theater.

A definite must see-and digital 3D Imax just enhances the experience!!!!Nice to see the classics of the English language brought into the modern world. Guess I'm still waiting on the answer to the riddle, "Why is a Raven like a writing desk? My recommendation-go see the film!!!!

Lewis Carroll's book 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' is a dreamy journey of comical curiosity. The characters are confused, lovable, mean or mysterious. It fills the mind with playful and amusing images. However, this movie is dark, violent, and disturbing. It is filled with scary and disgusting characters and situations. Instead of feeling "curiouser and curiouser", I was sadly left feeling "furiouser and furiouser." The screenplay is not true to the book, nor to the spirit of our beloved Walt Disney and the empire he intended to leave behind. I would NOT recommend this movie to anyone who is a true fan of Lewis Carroll's literary work, nor to anyone interested in preserving the innocence and magic of childhood days.

We expected the movie to be good but it far exceeded our expectations. Our family went to see the 3D version together and all found it delightful from beginning to end. Johnny Depp was endearing and funny as the Mad Hatter, and we loved all the characters.
