the costumes were great and I enjoyed the special effects. Seemed to be longer than it needed to be. I did,t realize that 3D was different between IMAX 3D and regular 3D. The glasses made the movie very dark visually.

An entertaining movie with quite a range of character interpretations however I expected so much more that I was disappointed. There were a number of times that I was bored. Depp was great but I never felt that Alice or the white queen added anything. I prefer the Disney animated version and think that Burton borrowed generously and wisely from that film. Still a better than average film.

This movie and the 3-D was totally amazing and fun. Things just look so different in 3-D. Johnny Depp was a MAD Mad Hatter and Helena Bonham Carter was a great Queen of Hearts. And the story was in interesting twist to the normal version of Alice.

I'm glad I saw the movie; it was very well made. The storyline, though, was slightly rambling, in that it felt like each scene was building up to a big moment, but that moment was never quite reached. The ending was also anti-climactic.

This is mine & my 14 year old daughter's first 3D movie on the big screen.......It was AWESOME! It was as if we were floating above the actual making of the film. Everything was so realistic! Wonderful effects! EVERY little detail was visible, right down to a single hair 'out of place'. It made us want to reach out and touch the butterflies! I can't wait until we see our next 3D movie!

This movie was completely eye candy and made you wish you were in the movie. The 3D was amazing and the actors at their best. The only thing that I felt conflicted about is you really knew how the movie would end and I wished the end would have not been so for told or have had a twist while still making Alice a hero. With that said I really had to give the movie five stars because it was so yummy and quirky.

Loved the movie, especially that it wasn't just a retelling of the old story, but rather took it forward. Brilliantly cast. The second time I saw it, the film looked dark to me. I don't know if that was a problem with the screen, the 3-D glasses, the film print, or ?. Screenings were in two different theaters, so hard to be sure. I treated my sister and 2 friends the 2nd. time I saw it; they loved it, too. However, we were all sad that it was no longer playing in IMAX 3-D in our area--Los Angeles. I would see it again.

While I would recommend this movie to my friends, I would advise to just watch the regular format rather than paying extra for the 3D experience. I was a bit disappointed because I was expecting a bright, colorful wonderland 3D experience. I also had high expectations for the Mad Hatter, but half the time I could not even understand what he was saying. I love the story line, though, and overall it was a good movie - just not what I had expected.

I heard mixed reviews on the movie but had never seen a 3D film so my husband and I went for date night. It wasn't that great as far as the movie goes. Husband actually fell asleep. The 3D effects were pretty cool but the movie was kind of boring. Not worth the extra money for 3d, I wouldn't of paid to see it in regular 2d. Could of done without :(

Eh, I'm not a huge Alice in Wonderland fan. The story is hard to get into for me. This movie shouldn't have been in 3D.

this movie was the worst big budget i've seen in a while, 2012 grossly preceeding its suck. the 3D was more annoying than entertaining, because even with its huge budget, Alice couldn't even make the movie worth seeing by filming in true 3D. i wouldn't even download this movie for free to watch it again. go see this movie if you feel like checking your watch the whole time...SUCKED.
