I am a fan of this movie saga. Kate Beckinsale kicks major Lycan and human ass in this movie with a whole lot of sexy. I love the story of Selene, vampie warrioress (Kate Beckinsale) and Michael, vampie and lycan hybrid. The story picks up with the humans finding out about that vampires and werewolves do exist and of course their response is to try to kill them all. The story picks up 12 years later when Selene wakes up inside a lab that has preserved her to do further research. As she tries to find Michael, she comes across some other vampires and lycans which keep her busy kicking more butt. She finds more than she bargained for. Michael Ealy plays a detective in the film who helps Selene on her quest. The action and 3D effects were dazzling and not over the top. I found myself ducking and dodging things I really thought were coming at me. If you're a Underworld fan or just a vampire werewolf fan, this movie is definitely one for the books. I enjoyed every minute of it and hope to see more in the future.

Love the series and was excited to see this installment. It was okay but I didn't think it was as good as the previous Underworld movies. It just didn' seem as gritty or as intense...sort of like a knock off of previous Underworld movies. Some pretty unbelievable story lines but okay, it is Hollywood and we are talking about vamps and werewolves here. Still love Kate but the 3D wasn't anything to brag about. Not really worth the price of a ticket. Better for a rental.

For those who are following the series, another great installment for sci-fi fans. I enjoyed the story line and the flashback to previous films. The ending leads you to believe there might be a 5th movie in the series. In 3D it was fantastic. I recommend seeing it over and over.
