For a fourth installment, this movie was very well done. You have to buy into the story line and be interested in the warewolf-vampire backdrop but alot of action and Kate Beckinsale is totally out of control, in a good way. If you are looking to entertain yourself for 90 minutes, this is a good way to do it.

I am a big fan of this movie series and I like how they have continued the story. They did a good job and I really hope they make another one. They should definitely bring Scott Speedman back in as Michael, he just seemed to fit the role. Great action sequences and special effects as well. Always enjoy the fight scenes of Kate Beckinsale.

I love all these movies despite the fact that the plots are insanely weak and so much of the story goes unexplored. It's true you will be left with a million questions and will perhaps even laugh out loud in bits. But this was rip roaring cheesy fun, and I love Beckinsale in this character. The vampires are cool, the werewolves are better. I just wish they spent a little more time writing the story and less time setting up the next one, this is a movie not a soap opera after all.

I really loved this movie. But then I have loved all of the Underworld films. If you loved or liked the other films in the series, you will most likely be into this one. Kate is back as Selene (is she EVER!), and given the opportunity to take the character into new places. there are many new characters as well who are welcome additions into the Underworld mythology. My only disappointment was the stand in Michael Corvin. Perhaps the role was too small for Scott Speedman to consider reprising here (It IS very small; his presence is felt more than seen), but it would have been great to see him back. Without giving too much away, the ending does leave room for him to return in an Underworld 5, and I hope there is one. Great story, great action, and a pretty decent use of 3D. A Vampire and Werewolf movie that shows the other Vampire and Werewolf movies how it's done!

If you like this franchise, you will not be disappointed. Selene is at her most lethal and the cast has some interesting new characters with a foreshadowing of the return of a particular favorite if there is an Underworld 5. I am not sure 3D added that much to this movie but it was cool at times. We really enjoyed the movie and it was a rapid paced vampire/lycan romp.

This was a great movie my husband loved it and so did I! The 3D was worth it and the movie had a great twist that yes I did see coming but was good! The only things that I didnt like was it was to short, it didnt feel like an hour and half, it was more like an hour and 15 min. I did hear coming out that some girls didnt like it because there was alot of action. Almost all of the movie was fights and epic battles. It should read 4 1/2 stars, but there is no "1/2" star apparently. My only complaints would be that one person who got killed should have lived as she could have made a good ally in the next episode (which, apparently, is coming). The other minor complaint is that I would have liked to see more of Michael kicking ass in hybrid form. I don't want to say too much more and spoil the movie for others. I think it was a great movie to watch at the theater and the 3D effects made it all the more enjoyable.

this was my first time watching an underworld movie and it explained thoroughly so it was not hard to catch up. great action and but the only disappointment was that it left my with the need of seeing more. the movie was only 1 hour 28 minutes

Overall I liked this movie, but I was disappointed. It is mostly filler leading to the next movie. There were only 2 new points added to the story line and you know what those 2 are before going into the movie. I was also disappointed with the limited showings in digital format. I did have to see it in 3D and felt like the effects took away from the movie and action. What happened to the main feature of the series being no computer animation? Very sad that they decided to go mainstream and do 3D.
