I loved it. My husband, who only went to humor me, loved it. My kids were spellbound.
The audience applauded every number ... all I could hear around me was "wow." I guarantee, if you have any love for Michael there is at least one segment that will make you cry ... but overall, you will be so caught up in the wow factor of what this concert was meant to be that you won't want the film to end.
All talk of body doubles and "this is NOT it" ... put it out of your head. Go and see this, You will not be disappointed.
MJ, rest in peace. Your greatness is evident in this film and will live on.

Michael was so incredible. It gave you a chance to know who he really was. It was like you were there rehearsing with him. His talent was so incredible. No one made a sound. Everyone was in Awe of him. Seeing this movie will tell anyone how he really was, a kind, gentle person who loved everything and everyone. No one can tell me that he would hurt anyone. We just wanted to stay there and not let it end. Its so hard to believe he's gone. He will be missed by all his fans. This was a great gift he left behind just for the fans.

I took my 2 teenage sons, ages 18 and 15 and we all enjoyed it thoroughly. I cannot believe that he was a virtual recluse for 10 years and then was able to perform like he did. One would never guess he had ever left the stage. What an incredible talent, what an incredible loss for him to be gone so young. This is such an important capturing of work of one of the greatest talents of all time. You must see it. You will not be disappointed

This movie is a great documentary/compilation of Michael Jackson's to-be last concert. It shows how humble and nice the King of Pop was with the people that worked for him. Any Michael Jackson fan would love to see this. The only other sadness, other than the King of Pop's early departure, was that he held his voice back a bit because he didnt want to strain it before the big concert. But he was still absolutely amazing and you'd have to have a heart of stone to not be moved to laughter and tears by this charming and beautiful man.

I am so happy that this movie came out the way it did, as simply as it did, to showcase how much effort and painstaking energy that Michael put into his craft. He was an excellent craftsmen, and it showed how much he cared about his co-performers, even allowing them to have their time under the limelight, "its your time to shine." The movie was just phenomenal.....something that Michael Jackson is best known for. It would have been the greatest concert! It brought me closure about his death. What also helped me to get through is my trip to LA, I was able to see his star on Hollywood Blvd., the house he lived in, and the place where he was buried. I was devasted when I heard about his death. I still listen to his songs in my car and watch his live concert in Bucharest. I will be awaiting the release (if they do) of This Is It on DVD. I have been encouraging my friends to go see it and the people I speak to (if I think they might be interested) to go see the movie.

It was truly amazing ... how fortunate to have all that great footage to put together this wonderful movie. As others have said, I didn't want it to end. Not only did this film demonstrate what a creative genious MJ was, but was also a testament to what a gentle and loving person he was. This would have been an amazing concert, and it's so sad that it never came to be a reality. His dancing was mesmerizing ... his moves were as good as they were 25 years ago during his Thriller tour. And the choreography and special effects were spectacular. The footage revealed that he was one with himself, and truly happy. I may go see it again. If not, will be buying the DVD.

I'll begin by saying how tragic it is that after his passing, we just now see a different side to him. A different side than what the media portrayed.
This documentary was incredibe. It truly showed his genius and what we as a world took for granted. The film was very uplifting yet sad and also eye opening to who he was. Besides the great loss of Michael Jackson, I felt incredible sadness for everyone who had a part of this concert. Especially the dancers. What a blessing for them to be apart of something that would have bee greater than great but to not experience the finale, is just tragic for them.
I would highly recommend anyone to see this! This was the first film that EVERYONE stayed until the very last credit rolled!

The movie was excellent. They had me at go.
I was weeping within the first 5 minutes from the interviews of the dancers.
The audience was absolutely captured, I heard sighs and gasps ripple through the theatre. Applause accompanied each segment as it ended, almost as if the performances were live. People were singing along and trying not to dance in their chairs.
This film left a very strong impression on me and will show the world the true passion of the artist and the creative process from behind the scenes.
Everyone who sees it will feel the same way. We lost something precious in Michael, innocence, purity, stagecraft and a true scion of the arts.

I was very moved by this show. I am so glad we were able to see Michael perform and show what he was famous for. He had humor, kindness, and such a talent. He was definately with it and shouldn't have been taken from us. I can't believe that he was such a great dancer and still amazing singer at the age of 50. This is a must see..
Initially, I thought this movie would bring closure, as I am a die hard fan; however, it left a lot to be desired. I wanted more of him. For a 50 year old man, he did not move like one--making every move look flawless (and this was only rehearsal). This two hour documentary was just not enough for me. I did not cry as I anticipated, but I did feel a sense of void at the end of the film, knowing truly "This Is It". What a heck of a title for a heck of an ending. I can only imagine what would have become of this tour; it would have been amazing. MJ was truly a gift to this world, and he will be missed but his music and message will forever live…

The movie shows us what we would have seen in the concert. It was full of energy and amazing dancing. HE STILL HAD IT FOR SURE! The Thriller video was remade, for a scene in the concert and it is AMAZING...really hope it gets released somehow.
It was sad to see what he would have given us had he made it to those concerts...it would have been an amazing show, and the grande finale he truly deserved for his amazing career and talents.

I took my mother with me so she can watch her idol from her generation. I ended up feeling the same way as she did, shocked by his fate and in awe by his talent. He was such a humble man. This movie showed what a true artist he was. I'll make sure my kids someday watch this movie, and see that true angels do exist.
