I think some in the audience were first expecting the typical loud concert movie but because this was rehearsal footage it had a quieter feel that I quite enjoyed. I found it riveting--I never looked at my watch once (the way I often do as a movie wears on). For me the highlight was the dancing--both MJ and the backup dancers. Phenomenal.

This was a very great look into the musical genius that was Michael Jackson. Not only did Michael sing and dance as he did 25 years ago, but to be able to see his vision of what he wanted his comeback concert to be was great. I left the show thinking what a great concert that would have been and also a little sad for all the people who worked so hard on it that they didn't get to perform the actual show. Michael had great dancers and musicians. I think his children will be proud of this movie as it shows how great their dad really was.

The movie was surreal...at times he seemed as young and vibrant as a 24 year old and then there were scenes where he looked really old and frail...I am glad I got to see it and at the same time I am not sure I should have seen it...I can't explain it. I love the new song This Is It, it's a beautiful song. I feel he should be left alone no more movies or footage should be released let him rest in peace....

One of the best movies I have ever seen.It was captivating.could not take my eyes off the screen.Its hard to imagine he died just a short while later.He was full of enery and working hard.He was loving what he was doing. It made me see him in a different light.I think he has been totally misjudged and no matter what anyone thought of him.He was talented and IS a great entertainer.This concert was going to be great and I am so glad I got to see part of it.I will be buying the DVD and the soundtrack.This movie was sort of documentary like but they blended the footage from several days of rehersal so well you can't tell.They put this production together very very well.Kudos!God bless all who worked so hard on this project.

This movie truely shows the talent,skills and the heart of M.J.It is hard to believe looking at this movie that he is gone.He was a kind and tender soul. What an unbelievable,entertainer & human being.I wish the CD was a true Movie Sound Track I would have purchased several. Michael Jackson was a genius and a master at work. This movie certifies why he was the best at what he did. His singing (which was all live, no lipsyncing) was some of the best he's ever done, some really incredible versions of familiar favorites. And his dancing was top notch. He was dancing better at 50 than at age 20.
It's a shame that we'll never get to see the concert that this film promised, because it would have been phenomenal. But on the plus side, we'll always have the memories of what could have been, and what was, displayed on this film

This was wonderful. I'm so lucky to have been able to see it on the big screen. I'm still very upset about MJ's death and this was a little like closure for me. It was very well done. It was exciting and emotional in parts. It was awesome to be able to see how he really was. I loved seeing him laugh and have fun. Thank you, Michael Jackson. It was a great movie. I didn't give it 5 only because it wasn't appropriate for my 4 year old. My 11 year old and I loved it. It did have some women on there that could use a bit more clothing and some scary parts in the Thriller making but other than that it, I recommend it :) Just not for little ones.

This is a very well put together movie. It shows what we missed out on. Probably one of the best concerts ever. MJ put his all into as well as all the dancers, producers, and band. I am happy that the world has an opportunity to see and enjoy the hard work and time that went into putting the show together. I am also glad that we got a chance to see MJ happy and remember him the way we should. He is a very talented and amazing musician. There will never be another MJ. Such a traggic loss. I work in the medical field and he should of never received Diprivan outside of the hospital. I also enjoyed seeing how kind MJ was to everyone during rehearsals. We will for sure miss MJ.

The movie was truly amazing ...Not only did it demonstrate Michael Jacksons incredible creative genius, but it also displayed his loving and gentle personality.

My husband & I are in our 50's and WE LOVED IT! The dancing was fantastic! The tribute to the Jackson 5 was so sweet.
We appreciated the inclusion of Complete singing of the songs and not just bits and pieces.
We expected this to be like a long trailer but it was an excellent documentary of a beautiful concert tour!

What a show this would have been and it is so sad that those who worked so hard on it never got to share it with the world. Michael is amazing, he moves like no other and truly cares about every part of the show. I felt very sad that we will never know what else this man could have done to amaze us. The doctor is completely at fault for leaving Michael unattended after giving him such a strong drug. Those who ever doubted Michael's talent should see this movie.

I read one critic review and thought it was pretty funny to see an attempt to review this as a movie. Plot? None. Dialog? Ha. Acting? No one played a role other than themselves. Cinematography? As in "MTV video"? Nope, this is pure and simple just a concert, and it is a great one. If you like Michael Jackson's music and want to see what is, by definition, his last concert, go see this. Otherwise, stay away. PS. The Jackson 5 songs are a great bonus. PPS. IMAX is worth it, not for the image (you kidding?), but definitely for the sound.

I walked away from this movie thinking what an amazing talent, joyful, filled with his spirit and his magical music at the same time clouded by the thought that the world will miss his showmanship. "This Is It" was great. It showed exactly how talented Michael Jackson really was. I don't care what anyone says about him, no one could take away his natural ability. Considering this was just footage of practice and preparations for the show, he was excellent!
This movie made me really miss the star and yearn for the real concert. That concert was going to be one of the best ever! It is definitely worth the cost of a movie ticket if you are a MJ fan. I can't wait for it to come out on DVD. My daughter was actually crying during parts of the movie. It let you in on a piece of Michael that very few people had the pleasure of seeing.

What an incredible movie. it was amazing to see such a gifted entertainer perfecting his craft. The softness which he spoke the gentle manner in which he treated everyone. It is obvious that Michael was still the KING OF POP! Watching the screen while he worked with out the routines with the dancers your eyes are drawn to MJ he was still the best dancer, his movements fluid, graceful and percise. It is sad that the world missed this concert. Hearing him describe his feelings about love and the earth was touching. I hope his message is heard and action is taken on it. That is his legecy. I am thankful that AEG, The Jackson Family and Sony brought this movie to us.
Long live the KING OF POP!

I'M SO UPSET AFTER WATCHING THIS MOVIE. THE DOCTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS DEATH. IN THIS MOVIE MICHAEL DEMOSTRATED ALOT OF ENERGY AND NEVER LOOK SICK. MICHAEL HAD MANY YEARS TO LIVE AND HIS CONCERT I FELT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE BEST. THANKS MICHAEL FOR ALL THE MEMORIES YOU LEFT BEHIND WITH YOUR MUSIC. REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND.

Our family group aged from 24 to 83 made seeing this an occasion and we weren't disappointed. The biggest comment other than how fantastic the show would have been, was how well MJ was physically, vocally and especially stamina. At 50, he could match the dancers half his age step to step.
Don't believe the hype. He was in great health. His show would have been a wonder to see.
WE LOVE YOU, MJ. YOU ARE TRUELY THE KING OF POP!

This movie was totally excellent! I couldn't take my eyes off of the screen for one second. Myself and almost everyone else in the theatre stayed until after the credits rolled and the music stopped. That's the only problem with the movie, they had over 100 hours of footage, they should have made it longer. I guess I should just be thankful that they made it at all. I just didn't want it to end. I can't wait until the DVD comes out so I can watch it over and over. They really should consider making a second part. Michael will always be the true KING OF POP!

I loved This Is It. I have never been to a Michael Jackson concert so seeing this was a real treat. These concerts were going to be awesome and if you see this movie you will know why. In no way will I spoil the movie for you but you will be blown away by MJ and his dancers. I wish they had interviewed MJ a little more but it was awesome just seeing the man at work. Also, another really great reason to see this movie is that 90 percent of the profits go into MJ's children's trust.
