This movie gets10+stars! It was excellent and reconfirmed my belief of Michael being a kind hearted, caring, loving individual. Although I still feel his lost as a mega talent, it's a blessing to be able to view and enjoy the great film footage that gave us a glimpse of the nature and personal side of this master performer and musical genius.
I'm glad the show dates were extending because I'm telling all my friend and co-workers to go and see the movie. I can't wait to buy it on DVD. I'll even give them as gifts. It''s definately a movie collection item.
Michael was such a humble man who not only cared and loved others but valued the importance of saving planet earth. He was a flower flock away much too soon.

WOW!!! What a fantastic movie. My friend, my daughter and I went to see it, and we were so glad it was made. We have never seen almost everyone sit through the credits. It seemed as if people were deep in thought when it ended, and I know that we wished it would go on forever. What surprised us was the age range of the audience, from quite young to much older people. We are all so lucky that someone as talented as Michael Jackson came along in our lifetime. It's such a shame that he died when he was still young, but one can see from this movie that his concerts would have been hugely successful. It's quite clear British people adored him, and it was fitting that he should have started his last concert tour there.

Honored to be able to see him again. I felt empty with him being gone forever. I felt a sense of gratitude to his family for sharing Michael with us. I felt confused with all that has been in the media he looked happy, healthy, grateful and very focused. I will definetely purchase the DVD in Blu-Ray. After seeing "This is It" I would have paid $1000.00 for a ticket to his live show. He was THAT GOOD! I am a 56 year old educated white woman and I grew up listening to Michael Jackson. I appreciated his music, his writings and his dancing. He was awesome in those ways. The dancers, musicians, director, producers were wonderful and very lucky and grateful to be there with Michael, of that I am sure!

A must-see! A great, memorable movie!! This movie is a beautiful combination and balance of Michael rehearsing his performances, and Michael working with the dancers, musicians and other crew members to bring his amazing ideas to life (larger than life, of course!) on the stage. A wide variety and timely transitions as we watch song performances become concert-ready. This was going to be one awesome concert!! He still has all the moves and fluidity, and the fabulous vocals. We see how much he cared about everything and loved. Beautiful images, amazing rhythms and I'm still singing the music. Don't leave when the credits start- it's not over, yet!

After watching this movie, I realized (again) how amazing Michael truly was. It's really a shame that such a great talent, one that comes around once in a lifetime, fell victim to the world around him and their hurtful agendas. This film proved that Michael was at the top of his game before his unexpected death, and that his voice was pitch perfect and pure! This movie was amazing. No one will ever be like MJ!

This was AWESOME!!. No matter what anyone thinks they thought of MJ, you will leave the theater with a feeling of wanting more and realizing what a great talent and musical genius we have lost. No one hasn't had some memory or event that they can't relate a Michael Jackson song to - if you're lucky, more than one! Thank you to the Jackson family for sharing this footage - We felt like we were right there on the stage observing. He was such a natural, his dance moves, his eye for making the audience see what he was trying to show, his love for the planet and all that was beautiful. Hurry and go see it - it won't be the same on the small screen!!

Outstanding! The "This Is It" concert series was going to be one the greatest and epic concerts of our time. The movie did a fascinating job portraying the grandeur of the production and spectacle of the concert series that would unfortunately would never be. The best movie I've seen in 2009, hands down. I've been telling all my friends to see this movie. It's a great documentary of a wonderful artist. This stage show would have been tremendous to see. MJ was outdoing himself. It is obvious he still "had it". I enjoyed watching the behind the scenes production as well as hearing him sing. His dancing was strong. He looked thin but he always looked thin to me. Go see this...it was "edge of your seat" enjoyable.

I have to admit that I am one of the BIGGEST Michael Jackson fans.., so my review will be very biased. This was one of the best concert/stage shows, and or documentary that I've seen. It left me on the end of my seat throughout the whole movie. I guess you could call it a movie - I'm not really sure what to call it. I know that it was quite entertaining and just AWESOME. It only further proved how talented this man IS/WAS, I'm still not able to handle the part that he is "really" gone! I just keep hoping that this is just a dream and I'm going to wake up and find out that he is "still' here with us! Go out and see it. LOVE to his Family and GOD BLESS them All.

I loved This Is It. The movie was more than I expected and I'm going back this week to see it again, in case it does not come out on DVD. The music, I could not sit still in my seat, which is always the case with MJ music, and the respect Michael shows to the people working with him and vice versa is a wonderful thing to see. That tour would have been the best thing Michael had ever done and its so sad no one will get to see it. An amazing insight into Michael Jackson.

I am a MJ fan from way back. I have seen the movie twice now and could watch it again and again. I do plan to purchase the DVD. MJ is truly the King of Pop. "This is it" was amazing. I feel lucky to be able to see MJ's last concert setup. I think its safe to say that...MJ was the greatest performer that has ever lived....This movie truly shows you how much he adored his fans, evident by the incredible and ever forward thinking productions he took part in. Everyone else would have charged you the same amount of money and let off sparklers on stage...♥ RIP MJ

This was a great opportunity to see a bit of the tremendous effort which goes into the development of what would have been another fantasic MJ event. Time had not seemed to dull this amazing talent. Clearly a perfectionist and born an entertainer, MJ although visibly thinner than previous years, definitely still had it. A great movie to enjoy.

This was a great movie. It showed the human side of Michael. He was very patient with the people he worked with. A great teacher. Would go see it again and will purchase DVD when it comes out.

I grew up listening to Michael Jackson, we where the same age, the energy in his music would take over my body where ever I heard It and anywhere I was , I would automatically start dancing . Ask all the Pop and Hip Hop musicians where their Inspiration came from, you know the answer! It's terrible that anyone would say anything negative about this Movie, He had his up's and down's and controversies but you could never take away his music. John Lennon once said(Quote: Before Elvis there was nothing, I say, during Elvis there was Michael Jackson, after Elvis there was still Michael Jackson)

It was great...i took my 14 year old daughter and a friend. Her friend didn't know who Michael was. After she saw the movie she was surprised she had heard and enjoyed his music, but hadn't recalled seeing him ever. I think it is a great way for people who enjoy music to introduce our children about a music icon. Was a shame such a superstar's life cut short.
