This movie shows MJ as the person he truly was. Ignore all the misguided press - know the man. If I had only one word to describe Michael, I would say that he was the personification of LOVE ~ what a truly beautiful mind, what a gifted sole, what a magnificent human being. I grew up listening to and loving MJ and his music over these past 45 years and to say he was a big part of my life would be an understatement. I never knew just how significant to me he really was. My heart continues to ache for his sudden departure from this world; I know his legacy and message will continue to live throughout history.

After viewing this movie, there is no doubt in my mind that Michael Jackson may be gone, but his legacy will never die. This movie shows him at his best. His voice is in perfect condition, his moves are better than ever, and his artistic view is spot on. It shows how involved he was in every aspect of his show; from picking the dancers, to the helping the singers, he had his hand in every part. This movie was fantastic!

This documentary will have you smiling the whole way through...makes you wanna get up and dance. "This Is It" showed the the true and beautiful soul of this amazing legend. NO ONE WILL EVER come close to being in even the same catagory. I have been an MJ fan my whole life and I have never quite felt his spirit as I did watching him on the silver screen. EVERYONE should see this documentary..all ages and even ones that werent fans. It is mesmerizing.

I thought this movie was awesome and shared my feelings on facebook. I loved every minute of the movie. I will definitely be purchasing the dvd soon. I cried at the end of the movie because of all the things Michael went through before he died and the movie showed me that he was a very religious man and enjoyed the people he worked with and really was a genious with the work he did to create such a masterpiece for all his fans. Any time I was feeling blue, I would play his music and he always made me feel better and this movie made me feel fantastic. I especially loved the thriller portion of the movie with all the costumes and the way it was all put together was perfect. Thanks so much for sharing with us Michael's true beauty.

I have been an MJ fan since I was born. I have always known what a genius he was, however, it was so awesome to see him doing his thing. He was brilliant, humble, kind, and supportive. If there was any doubt about MJ not being able to pull off these concerts, then this movie will put them to rest. Even at 50, his level of activity was far greater than those half his age. It's not a perfect film, but it's a must see for anyone who even has the slightest interest in MJ's craft.

Revealed the true genius that was Michael Jackson. His incomparable voice and dance mesmerized me - the purity and perfect pitch of his voice, and the impossible to duplicate dance moves! Sadly, this concert of a lifetime will never take place. How heartbreaking for the dozens of dancers, musicians, etc. who never got to perform the concert! The woman who played lead guitar was phenominal! Michael looked frail and thin, and had some trouble breathing it seemed. Yet, this did not overshadow the fact that he truly was one of the greatest entertainers who ever lived. Such geniuses often leave this world too soon. Michael said repeatedly during the film, "God bless you." You too, MJ.

Despite all the baggage and hype over MJ, this movie clearly demonstrates how amazing he really is. I have fallen in love all over again with Michael after seeing this movie. He is an expert at his craft. I felt his strength, endurance and passion every minute. His voice was PITCH PERFECT. His movements were MESMERIZING. He was flawless. Even more so, he was so sharp with his observations and critiques. This was not a sick man or a drug addict. Please don't believe he was weak or not ready to blow us away with this concert. He was at the top of his game and giving his all. He was everything music and humanitarianism is supposed to be. This Is It was incredible from start to finish! This movie shows his music (stands alone), but it also shows the amazing talent and uniqueness of his dancing, his demeanor, his character, his unconditional LOVE, his heart, his fashion and his health. It was a bittersweet experience for me because I was thrilled to get to see every second of the movie, but sad that he is gone. Getting to see this and re-watching everything he ever did is gaining tons more than we could ever hope to gain from even 100 other artists...and he was just ONE. THE ONE that we love forever!!! I am 42 years young. I have been an MJ fan since circa 1970-1971. Yes, I did cry when MJ died. And, yes, I purchased my movie ticket 3 weeks in advance of the screening date.
Net review: This is a must-see, folks. Especially if you never saw him in concert, which I regret I never did. It gives you the opportunity to see MJ, the creative wizardry and the teamwork involved to put together a big-scale concert. If you are interested in dance/choreography, theatre, and/or videography, you will enjoy the show.
The dance, video and music is acceptable for viewers from about age 5 - 13. I think my 8-year-old daughter will enjoy it, so I'll take her during my second viewing!

I do not believe we will have as talented an artist and man as Michael Jackson. He symbolized the true meaning of "love" in everything he did. He so longed for a normal childhood that was lost so he could entertain the world. He's magical. I will miss his presence in my world I know that. Thank you Michael. Rest in Peace you dear, tender soul.

The loss of the greatest entertainer of our time is painful but I am glad this incredible film documents some of what made him the most gifted performer and kind, loving human being. The film is a tribute and is respectful. I am personally very thankful for it and cannot watch it enough.

I loved Michael Jackson and his performances throughout the entire movie. Michael shown that he was strong, healthy and energitic. I would recommend this movie to anyone. I hope this movie comes out on DVD. I definately want to own it!!! Thank you, Michael for all the wonderful memories you left with us. And thanks to those who made this happen by making this movie for the Michael Jackson fans! More wonderful memories of Michael to have in our lives. Peace be with Michael always and forever.

Talented and gifted, along with humble and respectful. Behind the scenes, watching Michael interact with his managers and crew and just all the dynamics of what goes into an amazing production like this is rarely seen by the public. At times it felt spiritual, as he closed a rehersal with the crew in a circle, saying GOD bless you and words of faith and encouragement to them, making it clear the message he wants conveyed to the world, but what really touched my heart and gave me some closure was knowing that he was happy during these rehersals. Happy to deliver the best for his fans...driving home the message of 'LOVE'.
