This is by far the best movie of the year. (Mind you, I am also a HUGE MJ fan, so I'm well aware of my bias.) Ortega did a great job with the documentary; arrangement of the numbers and the weaving of the other people (dancers, musicians) into the rehearsal footage was very well done, as was the scene selection for new video (for Thriller, Smooth Criminal) to go with the rehearsal footage.
Of course MJ was flawless; he still had his voice (and he sang most of the stuff; Smooth Criminal was mostly lip-synced) and his moves. He was such an adorable person, and it's quite sad the world won't be able to experience that immense talent and kind soul again. Highly recommended for every MJ fan.

Great to see MJ without the press and photographers all around him. Nice to see him doing what he loved. He was truely a talented and gifted artist. My heart goes out to the dancers who never had a chance to feel the excitment of performing live with MJ.

"This Is It" the movie, documents a TRUE genius at work. Kudos to Kenny Ortega for putting together a documentary that is so tastefully done. He could've easily taken the easy way out and succumb to sensational and tabloid angles. He does not and we're (the audience) is better for it. This Is It shows how truly blessed we all were to have witnessed a talent of this magnitude. This Is It is a riveting, musical, magical, often funny glimpse into Jackson's creative process. Its hard not to feel the loss, while watching the movie, as Jackson and his crew were preparing for what would have been the greatest concerts of all time.

When I first went to go see the movie I didn't know what to expect...but after seeing it I was blown away. I have to thank the Mr. Ortega and the Jackson family for allowing us to experience MJ one more time. It was like I was at the real concert itself. I LOVED IT!!! Loved it so much I bought 2 others so I could take it ALL in and not miss a second. And now I can put his death aside and move on knowing that he was strong enough to perform again. Micheal...you will be missed.

Loved being involved in the "behind the scenes" in Michael's tour preparation. There were moments of flawlessness and purity that were Sincerely Michael. This is the best movie of MJ. I have bought every magazine that has to do with MJ. I have about 40 + and 3 newspapers. I wasn't a fan until he died. Now, I want to see how he lived. I have bought 5 CDs (Thriller, Dangerous, Bad, Off The Wall and This Is It). I bought a 2010 calender the other day. I bought my movie tickets about 3 weeks ahead of time. I wanted to see this movie! I LOVED everything about this movie!!! I've seen it twice already! It gives a 2 hour glimpse into MJ's brilliance as a musical genius!! This is it....was it!! Listening to MJ's instructions to everyone and the respect everyone had for him was great...I couldn't stop watching his feet move in such a mystical way, it's like he was floating on the dance floor...he was truly a genius and professional. Orianthi will go far...she is also an awsome musician. I do feel bad for all those kids who didn't get a chance to go on that tour. It was a great show and for the rest of the cast a great experience, I'm sure.

I cannot say enoug about this Wonderful Movie.IT was a Great look at how Michael wanted his fans to the Best concerts that he perfomed for them. Sadly I never got the chance to see one of his concerts,but seeing THIS IS IT it shows how he wanted to give us the best he had and MORE.I cried it was the biggest loss when MICHAEL passed away.I wish I could have been his friend not because of his fame,because maybe I could have been of some help to him.Loved,LOved THIS IS IT

"It's all for the love...." MJ's words in the movie. It showed me what I already believed about this artist, musician, and entertainer. He had the power to reach the world and he did. His message was to keep it about love. A man who was not even of this world, very misunderstood, and very pure....I think this movie not only shows this side clearly, but also the outstanding choreography and songs created by MJ. I thought it was great that the dancers and other performers involved in this tour got a chance to be seen too! The work put in THIS IS IT tour was worthy of acknowledgment at the very least!
