I was not sure about going to this movie but my son was really into MJ growing up therefore I wanted to go and see it. I took a friend and I tell you it was AWESOME. I really got into it. MJ was so talented, nice and exceptional to work with just as I was told by the media. This is a must see film!!!!! MJ really is the king of POP. Everyone needs to see this!!!!

This movie was an excellent showing of what would've been Michael's final concert series. It shows a side of Michael Jackson that the media refused to show for years as they chose to label him a weirdo and abnormal. This is the human side of Michael, totally in his own element - creating, perfecting and preparing the gift he was sent here to give to the world. Whether you're a fan or not of Michael, this movie has inspirational messages for everyone. To see someone work so diligently but also so effortlessly at something they love inspires me to just be a more dedicated person. This was beautiful. Don't let the negativity sway you... I would absolutely recommend seeing this movie. It is fantastic! You get to view a true creative genius at work. I just bought the cd, plan to get the DVD when it comes out and have seen the movie twice already and am going again on Thursday night. If that doesn't say it all, I don't know what does! I am not a huge Michael Jackson fan, but have appreciated his music over the years. This movie made me really sad that I never got to see him perform live because it shows the heart and soul he put into giving his audiance the best concert experience ever. I highly reccomend the movie since it really does give you insight to how he worked and loved the work that he did.

Wow!! Even if you were only a casual fan of Michael Jackson "This Is It" is worth seeing. 30 minutes into the movie I was in tears... "This Is It" is rehearsal footage and concert footage of what was to be the 100 concert tour that Michael was preparing to do in London. There is a lot of excellent footage that is shown. He is singing and dancing constantly. He gives direction to the musicians as well as the dancers. You also get a glimpse of just how hard Michael Jackson works to prepare for his concerts.This final tribute is very well done and reminds you of just how great an entertainer Michael Jackson was and leaves you wondering what might have been...

Was so surprised to see how spectacular of a concert that was really going to be....and was so happy to be able to be a part of it. Really shows all the incredible amount of work that goes into shows like that. Michael was a creative genius and it shows in everything he did...singing, dancing, acting, choreography. Originally planned to wait for DVD release; so glad I didn't. This movie was absolutely amazing. Michael shows his professionalism and his beautiful character. The title says it all. Overall good to watch; MJ was totally gifted and now the world has lost him. Seeing him behind the scenes was a great experience. Shame they could not have went through a full dress rehearsal and showed that as a concert it self. Loved the "Thriller" part of the movie.

This is a must see movie. It captures his last days before his passing. MJ looked great and full of energy in all of the rehearsals. The movie was put together in good taste since it was all about MJ and nothing to do with his death or his children. Manny Ortega did an awesome film. I left the movie theater with a feeling that MJ has more to show us in the next few years. He stated "This Is It" but it is not!!! This movie was more than awesome!!!!! GREAT MOVIE!! Thank You Kenny Ortega and everyone involved in making this film. I was never fortunate enough to see MJ live but My God I felt like I was seeing him live for the first time in my life!! I wanted to cry but the movie was too entertaining to weep. Michael Jackson was a multi-talented man who was always an enigma to everyone... other than his fans. This movie shows us all just how amazingly talented he was in every realm of the music industry. His dancing is sharp and his voice is amazing! The audience I saw it with clapped at the end of songs, and sat in stunned silence at the end...not wanting it to be over. I wish they had done a movie like this about Michael while he was still alive. The media painted him in such a bad light, but this movie showed me the real Michael. He was so kind, loving and respectful of everyone who worked for him and with him that I was amazed. He was a musical genius who seemed truly happy making this show happen. If he had lived to complete the show it would have been truly awesome! I was thrilled to see this very well done movie and this is how I will remember Michael. This movie is a must see!

The movie brought the realization that "This (really) IS IT". Its a shame that the show never materialized. What a spectacular experience it would have been. Getting an insight into the preparations, his genius, his concern in making it the experience of a lifetime for his audience and his simplicity. He loved people, his fans, the world and its evident. To think that this was just a few days before his death. Quiet impossible given the currents of energy bouncing off of him. Not one glimpse of pain or suffering. Everyone should see it, to learn what goes behind a show and more importantly behind a Michael Jackson show. Michael was certainly a man who pushed boundaries, even in death.

LOVED THIS IS IT. IT was brilliant, riveting, beautiful, HUMAN and moving. Imagine being able to view footage of Picasso painting a portrait. This glimpse into MJ’s genius was awe-inspiring. IT is truly who Michael Jackson was — his amazing music. "You gotta let it simmer". I didn’t want IT to end.

I loved "This Is It"! From the beginning of the movie, to the end, I never got bored, I laughed a lot, sang, danced in my seat, and clapped! MJ's interaction with the musicians and singers was priceless! He was hilarious, encouraging, and a perfectionist (all at the same time)! I can't wait for this to come to DVD. I'll be first in line!

I loved this movie and would recommend it to a friend. Although I never got to see any of Michael's concerts, I loved his music ever since I was a little girl. I watched him and his brothers every chance I got. I still do almost 40 years later! He used his music to speak to our hearts and his heart was his music and his fans. It was refreshing to see that it wasn't all about him. He treated everyone with respect and wanted everything to be perfect for his fans. I'm grateful to have seen his last performance and will miss him very much. May God bless his family.

The respect he gets from his production company,dancer,band,directors...ect shows the man Micheal was ,a loving gentle, but wanted the best show he could deliver to his fans. Michael's vision is genius. I am so glad to have seen all the film footage prepared for the stage show, especially THRILLER & Humphrey Bogart. I laughed and cried, totally fascinated. The level of everyone on stage, from musicians to dancers and crew, was totally worth seeing. I have a newfound respect for MJ, who was hard to understand in real life.
