What I took away from this movie was how much Michael Jackson really cared about his fans. He was so involved in every aspect of making this concert tour a success; from the technical decisions to the sound of the instruments to the costume planning.. all done in love and humility. And what a sense of humor! I know this concert would have been his greatest. I laughed, I cried, I clapped and danced in my seat, and hated for this to end. He did everything catered to what his fans would want to see, especially since "This Is It".

I grew up without ever really knowing what Michael Jackson was about. His music was before my time, and every impression I ever had of MJ was colored by his horrible public controversies. This movie showed me the true Michael: his passion, his talent, and his amazing music. His show would have been the greatest performance of mankind. It's such a tragedy that he was never able to perform it for an audience, and this movie is a wonderful tribute to what could have been. This movie will have a very positive influence on his legacy. Everyone needs to see it!

It's like seeing the concert without being there... i only wish we could have seen a lean (smooth criminal) or more human nature but definitely a must see--why? because somewhere in me i'd like to believe that the proceeds from THIS IS IT are going to his kids...and plus, he was singular in skill, gift, talent and ability to move the soul and spirit... true musicians and dancers, singers and writers will appreciate the discipline he brought to his gift...his gift truly made space for all of us to do something great!

What an awesome tribute to Michael Jackson!!! It was like attending one of his concerts when I was very young. It is unfortunate that the media did not give him his props while he was here to hear and see them. This movie showed his gentle spirit and that he was an absolute genius in creating music. My prayers are for his children and family as well as the many persons who were preparing with him for this is his final concert. To those young people let Michael's legacy live on through your pursuit of your dreams.

I loved being able to have one last glimspe of Michael Jackson commanding the stage. He was the greatest entertainer to ever live. We were blessed to have had and seen his talent. I REALLY THOUGHT THIS MOVIE WAS AWESOME.IT SHOWCASED MICHAEL AS MOST FANS WOULD NEVER HAVE SEEN HIM. For people who say he was too sick to perform should see the movie. He oozed energy. I laughed, I cried, I cheered, I danced, I sang. We sat there at the end of the movie not wanting it to end and waited til it faded to black with just the song "Heal the World" playing. Everyone was singing to themselves as they exited the theater. What a great message to leave with.
His personality came through in this. Gracious, gentle, loving, not demanding as he could have because he was MJ.

This movie was simply fantastic. The movie just simplified his outstanding talent. It was just great to see him be on time of game, when all we heard from the Media was how bad he was doing. The audience was completely silent through the entire movie. At the end of the movie everyone clapped but they did not get up to leave until the last credits rolled across the screen. When I walked out, I just wondered why we had to loose such a great entertainer so soon.

I thought it was very good...I did not want to leave at the end, wanted to see more. It shows how talented he was. What a shame that This Is It. I think Michael would have been happy with the way it turned out. I took my 16 year old daughter who did not want to go. I forced her because I wanted her to see what a talent he really was. Michael Jackson will always be the King of Pop. It waw amazing to see him move the way he did at the age of 50. Of course you cannot expect the same exact moves like he performed at the age of 27. Not the media name, not the hype, but the man, the artist, the genius that made him what he was, both glorious & misunderstood. I wanted to see the definitive pop culture genius at work creating, and it's clear from this footage that his last shows would have been electrifying. Even at 50, even with all the stuff he'd been through, even with the anxiety and the prescriptions, the arthritis and pain, WOW the man still had it. Watching the naturalness of his movement is seeing one of the world's greatest dancers at work. His singing was still living emotion. His perfectionism is a joy, and sometimes amusing, to watch. What a loss of a mesmerizing individual and talent, but how fortunate this footage sees the light of day. Ortega did a great job.

We had to say goodbye by watching this movie. The concerts would have been awesome! This was the next best thing. Thanks to the producers.... It was great to see young people there, not even born when Thriller was released.!

I was surprised and touched by the movie. What a gentle, special, loving man. I'm a mid-50 year old mom and grew up with MJ. I'd forgotten how much his music touched me and defined my life. This is a movie for fans and non-fans. It was like getting to sit through the two hour concert we will now never get to see. The music, dancing, staging and of course, MJ were all fantastic and beautiful. I remember how much I loved his music and will miss him. I'm glad this movie is how I will remember him now: Beautiful, Talented and Unique.

Love it! Must see movie. I was blown away at how MJ sounded. His voice was strong and he sound like he was more than ready to perform again. For fifty years old he still had it on the dance floor. MJ was the greatest and will be remembered as the King of Pop. We will truly miss him.
