a real showcase of his talents. it's ironic (and quite sad) that many of us would otherwise not have had a glimpse of his upcoming show since the 50 scheduled shows had all been sold out, and even if he had added additional shows, many of us would not have been able to see him. in his death, he was able to give us the gift of his final show. that's ironic and quite sad.

I loved it. As soon as I sat down and it started, I began to tear up. I wanted to make it through the movie without crying but that did not happen. In order to get through it I had to stop thinking of him as gone. I love Michael and he is brilliant at giving the people the best of himself and those around him. I pray for his children and pray that they will be ok.

To see MJ in his element during his last days was definitely worth it. He was a master performer--the footage shares glimpses of his genius and his peculiarity in a way that makes him both super and human! Loved it...just when I thought it was about to be too long, "Man in the Mirror" closed the curtain. Includes a short tribute to his days with J-5. Nice.

This movie lifted away all of the sadness and darkness you felt after Michael's death. It showcased his professionalism and his love and empathy for other people. At 50 Michael was outdancing and outperforming 20 year olds. Awesome movie!

I loved This Is It. Listening and watching him rehearse his songs was like being in a live concert. His professionalism and involvement were evident. We can clearly see why he was the King of Pop and the greatest entertainer the world has ever seen. I didn't notice two hours had passed when the film was coming to an end. As a MJ fan, I felt happy to see him happy, and sad when he sang the J5 medley, and pictures of him as a child were shown. He looked so energetic and lively, that's when it hit me he's no longer with us. This movie is definitely a must see.

Kenny Ortega deserves a round of applause. He masterfully assembled a movie that MJ would have wanted his fans and others to see and that is MJ wanted perfection, not just for himself but for his loyal fans all over. I smile all through out the movie and cried at the end because for that 2 hours I forgot he was gone and felt that there was something to look forward to because of MJ's hard work. Yes, I know in my heart of hearts -- THIS would have been MJ's biggest comeback of all time. MJ still have it -- NEVER lost it. I miss more now.

MJ is the best entertainer of the millenium. His attention to detail & his ear for music were astounding. It showed that he was a normal human being - not the crazy Jacko the media painted him to be. I was impressed with the manner in which he treated the members of his team - from the dancers to the band members. He was truly professional & respectable, & you could see & feel the love & respect that his team had for him. He did not act like the King of Pop, although he had every right to act haughty. He was a musical genius & there is no one left that can fill his shoes. The world was robbed of an opportunity to see the best show ever. May his soul rest in peace.

This Is It was truly a magnificent movie, Michael moved like he was back in the Billie Jean days, his voice was awesome as usual, it had me sitting at the edge of my seat and crying at the end wanting more, I've seen it twice already and brought 4 more tickets for friends and family and I'm going again by myself. I urge all to see this movie, it is pure heart breaking and Beautiful all in one. Michael's concert was going to be out of this world, this movie was AMAZING.

brought along 7 friends to watch. two of my friends were awed by mj's talent. they used to belittle his concerts thought that it was all synthesized music. after watching this is it, they both went straight at a music store and bought mj's cd's and dvd's music/concert. they said that every michael's album is a masterpiece since he is a perfectionist and worth a treasure.

When watching this film...
Think about how MJ is a 50 year old talent in a sea of 20-something dancers, when you see him move. Think about how the music you're hearing is more than 40 years of chart-busting singles. We saw Michael's first concert with the Jackson 5 and we were very impressed with his talent and showmanship. After watching "This Is It", we were elated to get a glimpse of what his last concert would have been, but sad that we won't get to see it. Everyone should see this movie. Even if you are not a MJ fan. If you know anything about music, the movie shows you what a musical genious MJ was. Totally in control of every aspect of the music and choreographing. He knew exactly what he wanted and would stop if it wasn't what he had invisioned. Then gracefully explain what he wanted.
On a side note, it shows that he was not dying or sick during rehearsals. A great loss to the music world and the planet.

America lost one of the most campassionate, brilliant person that ever lived. The inocents he carried through the many things he did for our future "OUR CHILDREN" back fired on him due to selfishness through out the world "HUMAN NATURE RIGHT" WHY did they do him that way. He liked living that way and loving that way. The world that he gave and poured his heart into turned there backs on him "THAT IS SAD". He was betrayed by some, but his SPIRIT will always carry on and his words will not ever be forgotten his true fans will not allow that to happen EVER! We love you Michael and you will never be forgotten. I will pass your music and words and inspiration on to my children and grandchildren and hope that they will help HEAL THE WORLD!!!!

I always had admiration for Michael Jackson--and I'm playing the "Thriller" vinyl as I write this--but I was never a maniacal fan. This film, however, sealed it for me--his humanity, his talent, his decency, the way he treated others, his professionalism. The "I'll Be There" montage of photos from the past actually brought tears to my eyes. This is also a fabulous film for anyone who wants to be reminded of how really difficult it is to put on productions such as these, with choreography, dancers, auditions, musicians, producers, technicians, even references to science (in terms of costuming). A must-see for any number of good reasons, above all, to remind us that this man shouldn't have left us so soon.
