In a world where role models sometimes appear to be far and few between I cannot convey what it meant to me to see MJ's new movie last night. What a blessing! MJ is a true thespian, as my friend Debbie so artfully put it. "This Is It" would have been his most theatrical concert yet both in terms of the look of the set and the way he performed. He put 110% of himself into every movement, note, and gesture. The film also offers a unique behind-the-scenes look at his management style & creative process. What a genius! The movie was a true delight to watch and I would highly recommend it.

I have always been of fan MJ's music especially when he went solo. I just forgot how much of a genius he was. He seemed to be in good health during the rehersal. He never missed a step and danced better than those who was half his age. You almost forget he's gone as you watch the movie. Must see for all.

I went to this movie not expecting to be that thrilled with it and just wanted to see it because of all of the hype. I was pleasantly surprised; I truly loved it!!!!! I would recommend it to anyone of any age who enjoys music and dancing. The dancers were very talented and this documentary was fabulous, giving me a different view of MIchael; how passionate he was about his work and such a perfectionist. The back up vocals were wonderful as well and Michael still had it! I loved the sets and the scene with him and Bogey. The Thriller spot was also done very well. I caught myself tapping my feet and keeping the beat with my hands several times and I am a middle age white woman. I would see it again.

This is an outstanding movie and tribute to Michael Jackson. It shows Michael at his best preparing for a series of concerts that would have been incredible. Michael was definately in charge of how he wanted his music and concert to be presented. The best parts of the movie are the ones where he is discussing the presentation of his music. The songs were great of course (I wish the soundtrack used these songs in their raw form instead of the official versions). I highly recommend this movie ON THE BIG SCREEN. If you aren't a Michael fan before you will be upon leaving. Several people in the theater were going to download songs to the IPOD ASAP. A view of what might have been. RIP Michael

More than worth the ticket price. Seemed to show the best of Michael jackson. Just being is true self. Maybe he didn't show that side to many because of everyone always wanting something from him. None of us know how we would act unless we had to walk in his shoes. Not our place to judge. Especially since he is no longer here to defend himself. Go see the movie and enjoy the enormous talent he posessed. It's very evident that he could have easily made a major comeback. Just as talented as he ever was. Like time had stood still.

Thinking Michael Jackson had talent is one thing, but until you see him in action, you ain't seen nothin'! My eyes were glued to him throughout the entire film, and I almost couldn't believe what I was seeing. His moves were seemingly effortless, and the lalapalooza show was nothing short of PHENOMENAL. Talk about bang for your buck! Wow. It's a bittersweet experience knowing that Michael is no longer walking among us, but this movie is not to be missed -- on the BIG screen first -- then buy the DVD to watch again and again and again. A wonderful experience. Slightly emotional as well. 95% of the time I was eager to get up and dance, although I settled for mouthing the words and tappng my feet. 100% of the time I was smiling. 5% of the time tears came out. I wasn't one of the people clapping although they were in the theater. First thing I did when I got home was pre-order this DVD on Amazon. I do think he would be proud of the MESSAGE it sent. It was his message even if not presented in a perfect facade. The movie hall was silent. Not one crunch of popcorn was evident after the film began. Not one cell phone "accidentally" went off. I am very happy that they released this film even though I am sad the world lost a truely kind and extremely talented soul.

This movie was a spectacular peek at what this concert might have been, it would have been THE concert. The epic farewell concert for decades to come. This movie showed us all that Michael Jackson was a real person, a true to heart human being full of love. Love for his music, love for the world and love for those lucky enough to work with him. He was magic in human form, and his dancing? There are no words. He will truly be missed.

I loved every moment of this movie. The only part I didn't like was when it ended. I can't wait until the dvd comes out, so I can see it over and over. It was really great to see Michael behind the scenes, doing what he does the best...MUSIC!!

How sad that it took this wonderful man dying to finally have an honest portrayal of him for the whole world to see. This movie is great. That concert would have been jaw dropping and truly amazing. I would've had a heart attack it was so great. I think this movie serves as great closure for those still saddened by the loss of MJ. You can see that before he died he was still as active an happy as ever so he wasn't miserable or suffering or anything.

This movie was "Awesome." To see how every one put their heart and soul into the preparation of how it was to be performed, on tour, was truly amazing! Michael is such a perfectionist. His love for everyone he worked with showed by his actions and his words. I became teary to see Michael for the last time and to see everyone hard at work. Where did he get the energy? You could see he loved what he was doing. He will be truly missed. I can't wait to buy the video when it comes out.

There were four of us that saw the movie and no one blinked an eye. This would of been the best concert ever between the special effects and of course Michael. It was very emotional did not cry as I thought I would but I did get choked up a few times. One disappointment didn't see him sing "This Is It" only heard it with the credits.

This was the best idea to let the fans in behind the scenes to witness MJ's greatness. He was and is the best performer ever by far. Micheal was a genius. I'm a huge MJ fan and feel like I grew up with his music. Amazing to watch genius in action. Seeing how involved he was in every minor detail of this large scale production. The concerts would have been an awesome experience. The show was creative with some incredible effects. Having said that, the only down side for me was that Michael himself wasn't dancing to his fullest potential, and seemed to be just going through the motions. You can see the difference between his effort and those of the dancers beside him. Was he was holding back his energy in anticipation of 50 sold out concerts? Guess we'll never know. Even in dress rehearsals, he wasn't decked out, but the cast was. It was, however, my opportunity to say goodbye.

This movie is a must see for anyone who grew up listening to Michael Jackson. An amazing look at the man preparing for his concert tour. At 50 years old that man could still sing and dance almost the way he used to and he seemed to have no trouble keeping up with his much younger back up dancers.
He was a true entertainer. Anyone who ever liked even one of his hit songs needs to see this movie!

This movie is a labor of LOVE. For Michael Jackson fans, no matter what age. It is a MUST see. We've watched MJ on stage for some of us, our lifetime. But, never have seen how much love he put into each aspect of his work. Simply the most brilliant and creative entertainer to have ever lived. His message was always about love. He left this love for us all. I cried a little, but when I left, I understood, that his purpose on this earth was complete. Don't miss this. Please. Love to MJ, forever.

This movie is well woth the money you pay! Do not buy it on blackmarket because it won't do it justice. I screamed, hollered and cried as if i was there at the live concert! Michael lives on through his art and you MUST WITNESS IT!!!
