This movie just re-certifies that Michael was and will always be the greatest entertainer that ever lived. It's hard to believe that at 50 Years old he out danced those 20 year olds!! He is a wonderful talent that will be greatly missed. But his music will live on forever.
One thing though. I went out and brought the soundtrack from the movie right after I saw it expecting it to be what I heard in the movie, it was the same version of the songs that I already had. That was disappointing. I wanted to hear the songs the way he sang them in the movie.

I thought that movie was excellent, what a shame we had to miss out on this concert. That man was brillant and wanted nothing but the best out of himself and those working with him. This is one of the most powerful and touching movies I have ever seen. I have been a Michael Jackson fan since my childhood and now that he has passed on, I will never be able to see him in concert. This was as close to that experience as I will ever get and it was simply breath taking. I felt the same energy that he had in his music that I remember growing up listening to. My daughter and I saw the premier for my birthday. The perfect way to end the night. We went again Saturday. Michael in his element, how he worked, his genius, his kind and gentle soul and love for ALL and the planet. We laughed, sang, danced,. He is electrifying! He smiled the whole audience smiled and laughed. I am so glad we saw it on the big screen. We came home joyful and so hyped up that it was hard to go to bed. I took my 7-year-old daughter with me to see This Is It. Since his death, I had introduced her to Michael Jackson's music and videos, and she has immersed herself in his work. I can almost see the same look of wonder and amazement I had when I was just her age discovering Michael Jackson for the first time. This film provided an inside look at what would have been an amazing concert that sadly no one will ever get to see. The Thriller segment alone was an amazing production. A rare look at the behind-the-scenes hard work done by the King of Pop and a truly terrific cast of singers, dancers, and musicians. The blonde female Australian guitar player discovered by MJ is unbelievable. Includes footage of video that was shot for use in the show, commentary of the director, and MJ talking to his cast and crew and sharing his vision for his final concert tour. A show of MJ's absolutely pure phenomenal talent (singer, dancer, choreographer, song-writer, etc.). Leaves the viewer in both awe (wishing we all could sing and move like that at 50!) and sadness that at 50, the King of Pop is gone. See this film!

At first i was't sure if should see it because i don't know how i would feel but i glad i did...MJ wow me all over i again at age 50 he still got it MJ is definately a master mind..thank you kenny ortega and all the people that put this one of kind film together i know MJ is happy. i hope they release a dvd copy b/c i difinately want a copy to add to mj dvd collection. thank you MJ i love you u will be my icon till the day i day i die no matter what people say .R.I.P

The movie also shows how he wanted everything to be perfect for his fans, whom he loved so much. How kind and gentle he was to everybody. How he valued people, the earth, and LOVE. I watched the movie with my sister and her whole family on Oct 30, then we watched again on Oct 31 and we'll be watching again on Thursday, Nov 4, then Saturday Nov 6. Michael Jackson will remain as the Greatest Artist in our hearts FOREVER. We love you so much, Michael!!
